Okay. I know I'm still to small to be thinking about this (mind the Kit) But how exactly do you mate with a cat? I mean, how to you get kits and stuff? Or could you not?

You are not allowed to have kits unless you are a queen, which is a staff position.
You are also not allowed to RP mating, as that is inappropriate. However you can have a mate/lover.

From what I've seen other people saying you also can't have a mate until you're an apprentice.

I'm not saying I want my character to have a mate as an apprentice, but that's just what I see some of the older members saying. Well, what do you know? I'm an older member. And I'm saying that you can't really have actual romance until you're a warrior. |

False. Jaimie has stated that apprentices can have some romance. That's why you always see apprentices running around falling in love. The only characters that can't follow romantic desires are kits. Since, well, they're kits.

Apprentices can have crushes. They cannot have actual mates.

Kits are babies. All of their relationships are platonic.
Apprentices may have crushes. Nothing more than "Hey, I kinda like you. Let's go hunting together ."
Warriors can have mates. Nothing more than "Hey, I REALLY like you. Let's go hunting together forever."
It is not allowed to RP mating, because there are children on this site. If you see it, report it to the staff.
No body is allowed to have kits except for the queens of the clans which are staff members only.

Kits= 1-6 Years old
Apprentices= 6-12 years old
Warriors= 13-you get the picture.
This is the equivalence system set up by the Hunters themselves. It should give you some idea of when you can transition from crush to something else.

Yep. Mating is not allowed. That's why queens have kits that appear magically. Plus, we don't want to turn this website into something bad.
Apprentices can have romance and stuff. They can hunt together and train together and all that, but no mates. Or mating. Yes, they can say gushy stuff to each other, but NO mates.

Yea, pretty much what everyone else has said. To become a queen, you have to PM Jamie, and even then she will most likely say no. I'm pretty sure you also have to be a warrior so....
As for having a mate, you can have a crush as an apprentice, sort of flirt with each other, sort of like dating in sixth/seventh grades. As a warrior, you can make a thread saying that you confess your love to each other, but nothing inappropriate like kissing or anything.

Okay, thanks. I was just wondering, I'm not gonna go around and try to charm other kits. I'll leave that to when I'm a warrior, and as an apprentice I'll get a..... Crush? ?

You cannot be flirtatious or have any crush at all if you are kitten-aged. Just a warning, as many TreeClan she-kits seem to be clinging onto toms and describing themselves as beautiful all the time. .-.
