OOC: Realtalk tho; i posted this in the wrong clan at first omg
Apricotpaw walked back into the apprentice den. She'd finished training with her mentor, Shredthorn, awhile ago but had decided to explore the forest until sunhigh now that she had the ability to. She smiled to herself and blinked her grass-green eyes at the sight of her moss bed. From all the walking she'd done; she was exhausted and wanted to sleep but her pelt itched still for adventure. She looked around the apprentice den at the rest of the apprentices. Her eyes remained unblinking. Maybe she should introduce herself to other apprentices? She looked outside the den before padding over to two other apprentices that were around her age. Maybe older.
She smiled at the apprentices she had padded up to, taking a seat beside them. "Hello! My name is Apricotpaw, i'm kind of new here but it's a pleasure to meet you both." She exclaimed excitedly, "I'm just making sure i get to know everyone here, i love making friends." She said, muttering the last part. She didn't want to seem too wordy and scare off potential friends.
She smiled sweetly at them, waiting for them to introduce themselves.

Kestrelpaw raised her head and pricked up her ears at the sound of a voice. Another apprentice, probably a younger one. She looked tired, or just lonely, but obviously she didn't want to go to sleep yet. She was trying to make friends with her, Kestrelpaw realized. She should probably say something!
"Hello, Apricotpaw," Kestrelpaw smiled. Apricotpaw was a lonely one, but she was always very nice and Kestrelpaw wouldn't mind being friends with her. "I'm Kestrelpaw. Nice to meet you." She knew that Apricotpaw was one of the newer, younger apprentices, so she was probably feeling a little uncertain of the surroundings. When she had first come here, it was very scary not knowing anyone.

Apricotpaw smiled at Kestralpaw, another apprentice who was much older than most of the apprentices here. She smiled back at the other apprentice and nodded at her, "Nice to meet you too, Kestralpaw." She exclaimed quietly. She looked around the den and shrugged "What's there to do around here at night if you cannot sleep? Are we allowed to leave the dens at all after sundown?" She asked the other apprentice.
She had no idea about rules and such when it came to the apprentice den. She hadn't heard much about anyone getting chewed out for disobeying rules when they were apprentices other than being rude or disrespectful to other members. She shrugged off the thoughts and looked back at Kestralpaw to see if they could help her out.

"At night? I think we're allowed to leave the dens, but I wouldn't recommend going too far. I've heard that some of the warriors can be snappy about it." She thought about it for a while. "Yeah, I think that's safest," she decided eventually. What did she do after sundown anyway? Mostly she was out with her mentor or Sagefur at night. It was best to practice when your prey didn't have the eyes to spot you.
But when she was in the den..."You can climb trees. They're right outside, so we're definitely allowed out there. And the view is beautiful too..." She walked slightly further and pointed at a tree with her left paw. "That's the tallest tree, my favourite."

"Hey, I hope I'm not interrupting. You're new, right?" Pinepaw ventured conversationally as he stood from his chosen roost. With Blackpelt rejecting his training, the tom had little better to do than sleep and try to practice on his own, not that he was getting very far. At first he hadn't thought it possible, but sleep was actually getting boring, and that was sad in its own right. So perhaps a conversation was in order.
The brown and white tabby stretched with a yawn, writhing slightly at the satisfying pop along his spine. "Jeez, it's boring today." the tom groaned, olive green eyes rolling in their sockets.
He was sure that he was right, the smaller female looked unfamiliar to him, and of late Pinepaw had been spending so much time in the apprentice den that he knew pretty much every face. "The name's Pinepaw, do you mind telling me yours?"
