Cheetahkit stumbled into the Elder's den, stepping lightly in case any of them were sleeping. "Hello?" she called. "Do you have any stories?"

Firekit was in the mode for a story. When she heard that Cheetahpaw was going to hear one, she quickly stumbled over to her, and sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws. "Could I please hear a story too?", she asked no elder in particularly.

Diamondkit was wandering around outside the elders den, hearing Cheetahkit ask for a story she decided she might as well listen to one as well. "Yes may we hear a story" she mewed contentedly "oh and hey Cheetahkit" she meowed, dipping her head in greeting to the spotted she-cat

"Hi Diamondkit" meowed Cheetahpaw. She looked at the Elder's den. "Maybe if we clean their den they would be more happy to tell us a story?" she suggested. She pounced at the muddy moss and threw it away.

"good idea!" meowed Diamondkit, ducking down to grab some dirty moss.
"I can get the clean moss" she mewed "i know a good spot!"

Cheetahpaw thanked her with a nod of her head and began clearing away the moss. "Hey, watch this!" she mewed. She rose up on her hind legs, then did a somersault, then landed on her front legs. While her back legs were in the air, she used them to kick out and kick the moss out of the nest. "Cool, right?" she meowed.

"Awesome!" meowed Diamondkit in admiration, before turning and racing out of the den toward the moss patch.
Diamondkit sniffed the air and looked around, it didn't take long for her to find the moss patch and collect as much as she could, before heading back toward the elders den.
"I found some moss" she mewed proudly dropping it at Cheetahpaw's paws.

"Thanks. You're just in time." Cheetahpaw had just finished clearing away the moss. She gave the moss a prod. "Good work! It's nice and dry. And soft." She kicked it into the nest. "Done!" she meowed proudly.

Thymekit padded out of the nursery and looked aroun. She spotted a cluster of kits and apprentices in the elders den. They probably there to ask for a story, she thought to herself. She padded over and Saar in silence, because she knew that she wouldn't be able to hear anyways.

"Hi Thymekit" mewed Diamond "we just finished cleaning out the elder's den to see if we could have a story" she added, nodding her head toward the fresh moss.
