Irispaw didn't have very many friends that was clear. That was probably because of her....Unique personality. Though she did have her brother, Redpaw. She had only seen him once, in till a she-cat came, and started to talk about some crush. And thats when Irispaw left. She padded into the apprentices, surprisingly looking for a cat. Her brother. She had never really seek out anyone, and she even surprised herself that she was. |

(leave for a week. nothing happens. stay for two days doing nothing. Four private threads.... OKAY.....) "VAS HAPPENIN?  " Redpaw strode into the apprentice's den. He had FINALLY finished his assessment and would get his ceremony in a couple sunrises from now. So basically he had to sit tight until that happened, then he could pack his bags and go. His forest green eyes were ablaze with good humor, "So Irishpaw....." |

(Haha, i didn't realize you had so many privet threads!XD) She turned to see Redpaw, surprised had his sudden appearance. "Oh, hey Redpaw!" She could feel his excitement just coming off of him. She tilted her head "What's got you so happy today?" She asked him, a little confused. It was a sunny day, but most cats didn't craze over sunny days like this. So she knew something else had to be up. |

"Well sis," He began, plopping down in his nest, and surveying her smoothly, "I'll be finally moving out of here soon enough." Leaning back against the nest, he scanned the den, and was almost surprised at the sea of nests that met his gaze, "Gosh this place is full." He turned his attention back to her, "So... what's up with you?"

She smiled, but surprising herself, she felt a sadness prick her heart. But she shook it away. "Congrats, Redpaw" She mewed. She looked around, and nodded in agreement with Redpaw. She didn't prefer this many cats. "Oh, nothing much, the usual"She said not even blinking. "Climbing" She told him, with a nod. Thats where she spent all her time, did he expect more? Not like she had any friends. Which she suspected, she spoke her mind to much sometimes. |

He rubbed her head affectionately, "You jelly?" Removing his paw carefully, he looked at her in amusement, "Climbing? Seriously, climbing...." He repeated, "Between now and the last time we met all you've done is climbing." He raised his eyebrows, contemplating whether to ask her more. In the end, he decided against it, "Define the usual." He was guessing the usual for him was quite a bit different than it was for her.

She nodded, so she wasn't the most sociable cat ever. Did she have to be? "Yes, yes climbing. But no one ever wants to do anything interesting, all they want to talk about is how in "love" they are" She mewed resentfully. She than answered his next question. "The usual is what you do normally.....So what you do the most" She mewed. Though that was about all she did was climb. "And its not like I haven't hanged out with any of my friends......." She murmured. That was mostly a lie. Since she didn't really have any friends besides her own brother.

"Mmmkay." replied Redpaw slowly. Don't want to tell me where? With who? But he didn't feel like pressing her, so he kept his mouth shut. His eyes flicked quietly as he listened. "Well, first, there's not much to do anyway..... so they create drama.... also known as lovvve." As soon as he said the last word, he instant thought of Blackpelt, and pushed it away. He never really confessed, he was too scared really, and he didn't know where all the love courage came from, each cat leaping after each other like fish after bait. He muttered finally, "Yeah I don't think that's normal."

Irispaw felt relief flood through her, as he didn't press on who her "friends" were. "I hate how everyone is just searching for love, everyone in this clan" She murmured. Its probably like that in every other clan too she thought with a roll of her eye. " Its defiantly not normal, at all! I wish cats would focus on whats important, and thats training!" She mewed to him, looking straight at him. She felt like she had said too much, but that was nothing new. She always felt like that, she really never knew when she shut her mouth, even when some things shouldn't be said. But she pressed on, "Do you have anyone you like Redpaw?" She asked. So it was a little bold, but thats who Irispaw was.

"Well not everyone." He corrected, grinning at her. "Different cats have different ideas what's important to them. According to them, training can wait." He shrugged, wondering why that was.
He looked sharply at her, holding her gaze for a minute, then laughed, "Hypocrite." He teased, then let his smile fade, "I guess... But I don't think she likes me but you know, whatever; I'm not gonna go chasing after her just yet." |

She shook her head, this was much different. "I wanted to see if you where one of those cats, I have no interest in cats love affairs" She mumbled. Though she felt as though she was being a little hard on her brother, so she sighed. Family was supposed to be there for each other.
"Would you like me to find out? They would never think twice about a little apprentice" She told him, with a look that told a lot more than you would think. It said 'You know i don't care about this, but you are my brother....' So it turned out that Irispaw did have feelings, even though often enough it seemed she didn't. For she didn't care what she said to others(even though it was mostly the truth) she would say it anyways.

Redclaw raised his eyebrows, "You know what I think? He paused, before going on even though he guessed she probably didn't care, "I think you're just the slightest bit interested. You just don't like when peeps obsess over the subject." He glanced at her quickly to see her expression, then glanced away.
"Aww you're sweet, but if you even mention my name, she'll know it's me." He shrugged, "Besides I think she already knows." The whole thing was starting to make him uncomfortable, but he kept his outlook positive for the sake of the conversation. |
