(got ven's permission. elders only. yayelders?)
Redstorm, during his youth, had heard a story about an elder meeting between some of the past elders between all four Clans. For a long time it had amazed him, probably because he didn't understand why they would want to chat anyway. But now that he was an elder himself he fully got the reason behind it: Being an elder sucked.
So, thanks to the power of magic and telepathy, or, well, messages between patrols and such, Redstorm had organized a second Elder Meeting. It wasn't clear who all was coming, if anyone but himself, but either way Redstorm was happily sneaking into the Shared Clearing.
The reddish-brown tabby took shelter at the edge of the large gathering place, huddled under a large holly bush. It was just past sunset now, and he knew he wouldn't be back in camp before the dawn patrol left. Oh well.
Now it was time to see if anyone else bothered to show up.

Thistle fronds rustled, and Firelight leaped into the shared clearing grounds, close enough to be scented but not enough to be seen. Her sides heaved. She wasn't as young as she thought she was, and the trek had been harder than it had been seasons upon seasons ago. But that was natural, she mused.
Her tail twitched, and she crouched down low, peering through the bracken. There was only one cat there. She was early? Running a tongue over her jaws, Firelight emitted a low growl-like purr, before padding hastily toward who she presumed to be Redstorm.
"So, you came." although the greeting sounded anything save friendly, her eyes gleamed with a light of utter enthusiasm. It was good to get out of the likes of camp.

Why am I doing this?
It was the one thing that kept rolling around in Wildwind's mind. Why on earth was she trekking to the clearing tonight? Well, she knew the answer behind that: an elder meeting. The second of her time, which, was in fact quite the while, which just went to show real importance of these meetings. There was none. Maybe it was just the clan's way of making the elders feel important, in which case, they were doing a poor job of.
With every step the old she-cat took, her bones cracked in places she couldn't even deem possible. Swears broke freely through her lips, loud, repetitive- something she knew could very easily attract danger, something she should have been weary of, but rather found herself almost praying would happen. A little excitement for once. Something that would actually make this darned hike worthwhile.
She could have refused. Said she was too old to make this kind of journey, that her vision just wasn't good enough to allow her to be out at this time of night. Both excuses would have been very true, but somehow, here she was. Deep down, she was secretly hoping it'd all be a little exciting, as much as the whole idea burned in her mind.
Maybe she was doing this to see old friends. Or, rather family. It was a known fact that just about all the older cats still living were in some way her kin. Wildwind snickered to herself. What a way to kill all clan boundaries.
It hurt a little coming back here, though. She remembered the last elder meeting to a point. It was good fun, but back then, most of her friends were still around. She still had people who she grew up with at the time, and meeting then again was something to look forward too. Now.. now all the she-cat had was false hope of anyone showing, for either they were too old, or.. gone. The thought struck the elder like a jolt of lightning, and she shook the feeling away immediately.
Up ahead was the clearing. She knew by the stale smell of mixed clans. While her eyes deceived, her senses were still, for the most part, intact. Inhale, exhale, stride.
With in no time, the she-cat made her way almost wearily to the other two. Jerking on a cold smirk, Wildwind purred with false amusement,
"Helloo, ladies."

(I know someone else, hopefully, is coming. But I want to reply now 'cause I'm impatient<3)
It wasn't a secret that Redstorm and Wildwind didn't get along. They had fought ever since the beginning of Wildwind's days as an elder. But seeing the old witch show up in the clearing actually warmed Red's heart a little bit. It was nice to know she still had the strength to come.
He ignored Firelight, for now, and instead marched right up to his own clan-mate. "Why hello sir. Glad a bachelor could make it tonight." He purred, brushing past her. "I'm glad I'm not the only one here, though. I was afraid nobody else would bother to come." He purred, glancing at Firelight. "Although I guess I shouldn't be surprised you came. You always did have an undying energy." He said sarcastically.

Shadowwing was more curious than anything else to be going to an Elder's Meeting. It was, of course, his very first, and he was in need of some excitement. His mind pandered just what they might discuss as he made his way across the open grass lands in his own territory. The familiar feeling of the wind rustling his fur brought him some comfort on the lonely night out alone. Firelight had gone on ahead without him, but he didn't mind too much.
As he neared the clearing he could smell the scent of three different cats, one he identified as Firelight, the others were unfamiliar. He silently sauntered up toward the group of felines, his dark pelt making him harder to see. If it weren't for his curiosity, and some sort of false sense of importance, he most likely would've just taken the excuse to stay out in the territory for a while, alone, but he was a tom of his word, and as he said he would, he made it to the meeting. Shadowwing looked from Firelight, to Redstorm, to Wildwind, then back to his clanmate. "Hello, everyone; Firelight." He said with a curt nod to his friend. The old tom sat down, neatly laying his tail over his paws, his eyes flashing with interest. "I do not believe I have met all of you. I am Shadowwing." He said with a polite bow of his head.

Arriving at the scene Windflurry spotted multiple cats ahead. Redstorm and Windflurry were really the only familiar cats here. Padding up to the crowd the she-cat dipped her head in greeting. Catching only the end of one of their sentences she heard the black tom introduce himself as Shadowwing. "Hello." She greeted in a casual demeanor. The feline sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws.
She flicked an ear while glancing at Redstorm and Wildwind. They truly were spiteful towards one another. But the cat focused her attention off of that and returned her gaze to all of them.
"So... How are you all?" She inquired. The tabby yawned and flicked her tail. She had never been to an event like this, the closest thing that she had come by was the gatherings that did not occur anymore, and even when those were hosted, they failed.
Terribly.

The cream she-cat padded forward behind the group, the youngest elder. Was that a thing? Yes, it's a thing, okay. "Sorry I'm late, everybody." She took a seat. "The names Quickfox, former warrior, former queen."

Redstorm grinned at the three arriving elders, although he knew Windflurry already. "Welcome, all of you! Glad you could make it." He purred, padding over to Shadowwing and Quickfox. "I'm glad you two made it." He purred again. He had heard a few tales about Shadow, and he was confident he had met Quickfox somewhere. Perhaps when Treeclan had taken shelter during their little fire incident.

Shadowwing nodded in greeting to Quickfox and then glanced back at Redstorm. He seemed friendly enough. "I'm glad to be here. Although, this is my first Elder Meeting. I'm not sure what is exactly meant to happen." He said with a flick of his tail, eyeing all the other Elders curiously.
