cherry kit enterd the den "mr. medicine cat i think i have an infected cut on my pad!"she said adorably

"Oh, dear. Don't worry, we'll get that all fixed up," the medicine cat purred. She smiled and took some marigold from her herb storage and began chewing it into a poultice. "How did you get the cut?" she mewed through the mouthful of herbs. "It's important to know so that I can treat you correctly."

She spat out the marigold. "This will help heal the infection." She dabbed some on her paw and began applying it to the cut.

"well i was playing in the nursry and there was a bramble and it cut me"she said

[Forestbreak]

"Oh. That's not too bad," the medicine cat mewed. Forestbreak smiled and finished applying the marigold to Cherrykit's cut. "That should stop the infection in its tracks. Now, I'm going to wrap some cobwebs around the cut. It might hurt a tiny bit, but it'll stop any bleeding."

She purred and swiped her paw through a sticky cobweb that had been in the corner of the den, then carefully began wrapping it around the kit's pad. "Almost done," she told Cherrykit cheerfully.

"thank you so much forestbreak!" she said cheerfully "your the niceset medicine cat ever!"

[Forestbreak]

"You're welcome," she purred. Forestbreak finished wrapping the cobwebs around Cherrykit's leg. "You're all set," she mewed. "Be careful about walking on it for the next day or so, because you don't want to rub off the marigold and increase the infection." She smiled and nodded towards the kit's foot. "Goodbye, now."

Forestbreak returned to sorting her herbs.
