The bouncy little kit entered her den like she owned the place. Darkstar opened her eyes, but didn't move her head. Perhaps if she looked dead, nothing would happen. She listened to the squeaky young voice talk, and didn't hear footsteps leaving her den.
"It comes with the age," Darkstar snarled as she nuzzled her nose farther under her tail.
