Raccoonpaw felt as if he was the most exited cat in the whole forest. Because he had finally been given his apprentice ceremony. He was now and apprentice and would soon start his warrior training with his newly appointed mentor, Redfern. He hoped that she would be a good mentor and he would at least become a decent warrior.
But before he would be able to start his training, he would have to get settled into the apprentice den where he would live up until he got his warrior ceremony and name. Then be would move to the warriors den with all of the fully trained cats who serve their clan as true warriors.
Gazing around the den, Raccoonpaw searched for just the right place to put his nest. His eyes soon fell upon a spot at the edge of the den, it was pretty much where no one else was. Like where his nest had been in the nursery. He liked a place like that. It was nice and quiet.
Luckily, Raccoonpaw already knew how to prepar a nest, he had been taught by an apprentice by the name of Marshpaw. She had cleaned his nest and he had helped her. Raccoonpaw also had sone feathers that he could use to make his nest extra comfortable. Just how he liked it.

"Hey now. Fancy seeing you here," Marshpaw purred teasingly, standing from her nest at the sight of Raccoonpaw. She had watched his ceremony quietly of course, though hadn't gone up to congratulate him with everyone else. Rather, she could do that now. Looking over the tom's shoulder, she grinned at the sight of his finished nest, made in the fashion that she had showed him as a kit. Padding over, the brown and grey tabby flicked Raccoonpaw's nose gently with her tail. "Hey, congratulations on being made an apprentice." She purred.
She had been expecting more people around to congratulate the tom. He was pretty popular after all, surely he'd have to have at least a few friends. Lifting her head to gaze around at the mainly empty den, she shrugged. "Do you know any other apprentices yet?" she asked curiously, switching her gaze over to Raccoonpaw. She surely thought of him as a friend, but did he count her as one of his? It was always so hard to tell.
Settling down comfortably, Marshpaw yawned and stretched out her paws. "So, what do you think of your mentor so far. Redfern, right?"

Raccoonpaw couldn't help but to smile as he saw the firmiliar face of Marshpaw. He had been wondering when he would see her again after their meeting in the nursery. He figured that he would see her once he became an apprentice, and was glad that her face was the first face that he saw.
"Thank you, I'm really exited to finally be an apprentice," Raccoonpaw told her brightly. He had been waiting for what seemed like ages to become an apprentice. And now he was.
"Yeah, my friend Shimmerpaw is an apprentice," Raccoonpaw told her. Although he hadn't seen her in a while, he knew she was still an apprentice and was exited to be an apprentice at the same time that she was all the same. And maybe he would see her sometime soon.
"Well I dont really know her that well, but I think that she will probably be a good mentor all the same," Raccoonpaw mewed.

Sweetpaw noticed him, she walked over, "Hello, my name is Sweetpaw." she smiled.
