Medicine Cat Den Rules of TreeClan
Liongrowl and Bumblepaw
If these rules are not followed, your thread may or may not be locked followed by an explanation why. <3Liongrowl and Bumblepaw

INJURY/ILLNESS RELATED RULES
1. If a cat is to break a bone, they are to RP with said injury (in every thread) for at least two weeks. In real life, a feral cat with a broken bone would probably die. You RP'ing with that for two weeks isn't horrible.
2. If a cat gets sick with something worse than allergies or a cold, you are to RP with the illness for at least a week. Depending on what it is, and how your character reacts, perhaps a little longer.
3. If a cat is to, for some reason, lose a limb, then they must RP with that injury for the rest of their lives. This should be obvious. This also goes for becoming blind, deaf or mute. It is your choice whether or not your cat receives a scar from an injury, but please be reasonable about it. You are choosing to be injured--you have all the freedom to make it more or less severe based on whatever scars you would want.
4. Being born with a disability is accepted on VWW. But don't forget that a cat, especially a feral kitten/apprentice, is going to have a lot of trouble with certain/most disabilities. Blindness/deafness is highly discouraged. A blind apprentice would have to go through major training to learn how to properly hunt and survive. A deaf cat would have to go through the same. Mute kittens have it easier, as they could still hear and see enemies and prey, and also signal to other cats with their ears and tail.
5. There are three major illnesses in the Clans. Whitecough is the least deadly one, and is usually caught by kittens. Greencough is more common to all cats, mostly during Leaf-bare, and is fairly deadly if not treated. Then we have Blackcough. If you get this, chance of survival is almost impossible in warriors; it's essentially a promise of death. Kits and elders who catch this are certainly going to die. Do try to be realistic.
6. Rat bites get infections, and rats are fairly deadly (at least in the books). Snake bites, mostly, are venomous. If not treated immediately then the cat would surely die. Even if treated, survival isn't guaranteed.
7. If you get blinded by a thorn....I laugh at your character's stupidity. eue
RULES ON THREADS
1. I have not, and will not, come search for your injury thread to come and find you. If your character gets injured or sick, they are to come to me, or be brought to me.
2. Always tag me and/or Liongrowl in a thread you make in the den. If one of us do not reply within a few days, don't just magically learn to heal yourself. Either delete your thread or wait. If you don't tag us, it will probably be even longer.
3. Threads such as "I WANT TO BE A MEDICINE CAT" will be locked and ignored.
4. Please do not make a thread in this den in which your cat is NOT injured without first PMing me or Liongrowl AND RECIEVING AN OKAY.
5. Please do not have more than two you-centric illness/injury threads in here in more than two weeks. It's fun to punish your characters, I know, but not that fun for us.
OBVIOUS RULES THAT YOU SHOULD NOT NEED BE REMINDED OF
1. If you are not a Medicine Cat, or if you don't have permission to know herbs, don't pretend you know a certain type of herb or treatment. Obvious and common ones (such as poppy seeds or cobwebs) are fine. But if you ever go "Give Exampleheart some tansy and chervil" I will deliberately make you
2. Death is only allowed if given permission by an admin. Not myself, Liongrowl, or other non-admin types(duh). An admin, aka Darkstar, Rowan, or Squirrelpelt. If you don't have one of them grant you permission to die, I will not allow it. You will also need Spiderstar or Arrowstrike's permission. Whichever one is active at the time, really.
3. Things such as broken spines, limb removal, or a face being "removed" like Brightheart are extremely difficult, unrealistic, and you will need to get permission for anything of that criteria.
4. Your character may not have kits unless you are a verified Queen or given permission by high up staff. As the new Queen rule has been added, of course if you are 'Queen of the Month' you may come here with a kit-related thread.
Come again and don't take more than one mint on your way out. I see you
Basically....
Any major life changing situations need permission for as in:
-Dying
-Losing limbs/eyes
-Breaking bones/(especially spine)
Also please tag me, I won't be upset if you don't but it will be easier for me to know someone needs the meddy cat by notification if I can't get on! @//storm1
