Poetry Dump

[Redfern]

Anyone feel free to post a poem if they want. I just feel like putting some of my own stuff, even though some of it is pretty lame. So yush.

Corrupted being, bleeding wing.
Take the path once turned again.
Loose the feathers, my dove cloaked raven.
Shed the skin, thy hidden viper.

Dripping feather, shredded wing.
Blood splatter.
Beckoning.

Called the angel, never again.
Sing the angel, never a breath
Fall the angel, forever more.

Behind the mirror, the glass is broken
Beneath the skin, the heart is cracked
Beyond the tears, there's nothing left.

Why keep the mirror, if it's already shattered?
Why start the heart, that's already lost?
Why watch the tears, when it's easier to look away?

Turn away, slip away, as the tears keep falling.
Break away, run away, you'll never hear me calling.

I don't need you.

If my heart was to shatter like glass under your touch, I would be sure to at least draw your blood with its sharpened fragments


I'm hiding, don't you get it? All these emotions, all these feelings, they mean nothing to you. So why should I bother showing them?
Maybe the reason you got lost in the dark, is because you were so busy guiding me. So let me be your light, and I will never let you go


I want to be like you; because you are blind, and now that I finally see, I realize that I don’t want to.

And yes, the sentences at the end were just random fluff, not connected.
