Mistypaw panted hard. It took an effort to walk to the medicine den after her leg was hurt. She flopped on the ground. "My leg..." Was all she could say.

"Is it broken?" Forestbreak said instantly, cocking her head. She stared at Mistypaw intently, studying the damaged leg. "Can you wiggle your toes? Can you put weight on it?" she asked drily, knowing that the answers would probably be no, but it was good to ask anyway. She blinked twice and stepped forward, grabbing some comfrey and poppy seeds.
"Eat this," she demanded roughly, putting the comfrey in front of the apprentice.

"No I can't move anything." Mistypaw ate the herb.

"All right. Probably broken. But you're young, and I have no doubt that it will heal fully," Forestbreak said cooly, taking a small rod of rush and a bundle of cobwebs fro the corner of the den. She sighed. "This is the part that will hurt. I'm going to move your bone back into place and then fasten this splint to your leg to keep it positioned correctly." The medicine cat took Mistypaw's leg in her paws, and, using the pressure of what of her paws and using the other paw to hold it into place, she pressed the broken bone back to where it was supposed to be.
"Did that hurt?" she asked quietly.

Mistypaw yowled in pain. "Yes... that hurt. A LOT." She licked her leg then her paws. She shifted uncomfortably then sat up. Mistypaw let her injured leg lay limp at her side and licked her bleeding pad. She had landed in the brambles when she fell of the tree and a few thorns still clung to her like a rabbit climbing a tree.

Forestbreak kept hold of Mistypaw and pressed the rod of rush on her leg where the bone had snapped, making sure to keep the leg stiff. She then deftly bit into a bundle of cobwebs, snapping them, and wrapped them around the rush to secure it in place. "There you go," she said, satisfied. "Now, don't take the splint off for at least a moon or when it's completely healed. Okay?" She smiled at Mistypaw and patted her back with her tail. "Go on, now. But don't strain yourself. No training for a half a moon, and for another half a moon after that, no rigorous training. And don't run. When you walk, keep your injured leg in the air."
She smiled again. "Other than that, you're free to go."
(You must RP with this injury for a week in real-time.)

Mistypaw nodded her thanks then padded out of the den her injured leg in the air and her other three legs working furiously.
(Ok)
