[For Tuftfeather] So it was one of the Treeclan cats that fell first, it hurt her more that it was someone who, if she had been alive, would have been her clan-mate. Indeed if she hadn't been killed by a fox, chances were she would have been alive today as an elder, if things had been different they might have known each other. Well tough luck, she was dead, perhaps they could know each other now. Leafheart wasn't happy about the circumstances, yet she was still awaiting her fallen clan-mate to come and join them patiently, to welcome her and perhaps even try to comfort her if the mood struck.
Leafheart's pale calico tail flicked back and forth in discontent, mulling over the Games. It was still a despicable event that she did not agree with. So what if Cloudclan was a little lonely to be in at the moment, she could deal, if it meant sparing the meaningless death of those that still had a chance to live. Especially this cat, who had been the youngest from the start.
Her green eyes narrowed as Leafheart made out a form approaching, was it her? Standing up, the calico cocked her head and stepped forward, trying to force an unfamiliar welcoming smile onto her face. Outright kindness wasn't her style, but neither was pity and there was no way she was going there.

"H-hello...?
sensations were slowly coming back to the cat. She didn't know where she was anymore. An odd feeling that wasn't quite pain tingled on her side and now unbroken spine. She wasn't sure how she looked, either. was there still blood caked on her? She couldn't tell enough to say.
"Where am I?" her voice was loud with a bit of panic. Suddenly overtaken with her urge to flee, she ran. It was a strang gait, as her paws somehow didn't feel like they quite touched the earth, and her body insisted on moving in a somewhat lopsided manner now that she was moving quickly. Suddenly, she found herself paces infront f another cat.
"I... I'm confused... where am I?"
suddenly memories started flooding back to her. The monster... and Cherryleaf.... Cherryleaf...
"No..." her voice was on the edge of complete hysteria. Scared out of her mind, she needed answers and a guiding paw quickly.

Peachwing watched the two spirits, especially Tuftfeather, from a distance. 'What have we done?' She thought bitterly, making her way over to the newest inhabitant of Cloudclan. She heard Tuftpaw's, or now Tuftfeather's, questions, her 'No...' Peachwing knew that the young she-cat was probably going to despise the sight of both Peachwing and Leafheart, but to force her here and then not say anything, to not apologize, would be too much.
She dipped her head to the younger she-cat, then glanced at Leafheart. "Welcome..." She started, pausing to think of what to say next. "I am Peachwing, former member of Fireclan." Her voice was an odd mixture of grief and regret. She hadn't been entirely fond of the whole Hunger Games idea, but she also knew it would be necessary. "I'm sure you aren't entirely pleased to see either me or my...Friend..Here." She no longer knew what to say, and simply backed up so that either Tuftfeather or Leafheart could speak next.

Darn it, she hated showing pity to any cat. So when it was that Leafheart padded towards the young feline, only respect and a hard sorrow. Now, she wouldn't comfort her, she was dead, what good could it possibly bring now? Still, perhaps a tad bit of kindness in her voice wouldn't go astray. "You're dead, little one. You were the first to fall prey to the Games. You walk in Cloudclan, among friends now." she murmured gently. She couldn't force her face into a smile, and so arranged it blankly so as not to scowl instead.
When Peachwing arrived, Leafheart eyed the she-cat for a moment. Peachwing was one of the older members of Starclan, and Bloodflame's mate. Kinda. That area had always been fuzzy. But Bloodflame's brother was her Uncle by mateship to her Auntie, so they were practically family anyhow. Her ear twitched in welcome, though she didn't say anything as the white she-cat spoke. Finally, it seemed right that she introduce herself as well.
"My name is Leafheart. I doubt you will have heart of me, I died quite young and quite a while back. I was in Treeclan, like you." she murmured finally, dipping her head to nuzzle the she-cat's head in what she hoped was a comforting manner.
"It's ok, you're safe and among friends here, little one."

Tuftfeather sputtered a little before she just gave up. She sat, her head down, gritting her teeth. If cats could cry she probably would have been. She didn't feel thankful in the slightest, but remember the cats were her elders, and also that they could answer her questions she resolved herself to mutter a quick "Thank you..." with all the respect and gratefulness she could muster. Her claws unsheathed for a moment, but found no earth to sink into.
"Is Cherryleaf okay? How can we tell... She..." the grey cat sighed. Her weight felt as heavy as lead on her paws that still didn't quite touch the ground. "Is this... permanent?" she asked, looking at her white feet. "I... I'm confused... I..."
She suddenly turned into an accusatory mixture of shocked anger and sorrow. "Why did you do this?"

Peachwing listened to the young she-cat ramble in completely and utter silence. There were no right words in this situation, absolutely none. Peachwing let out a small sigh, and turned to Leafheart. "I know you...Probably don't believe you're here for a good cause. And to be honest, some of the Cloudclan spirits here aren't even sure. But..Hm.." She tried to think of what to say next.
"Imagine if all of the Cloudclanners here faded. To nothing. Nobody left. Then, one day, someone dies. Do they know where they are? Do they remember? Do they have anything to do but walk aimlessly in an empty land and remember?" She asked, a hint of brutality in her voice. "We called for more spirits because the current ones are fading, getting lost in the Clans. People continue to forget us, and therefore we have no reason to exist here in Cloudclan. Perhaps we could have dome something less drastic, but there is no turning back now." With that she got to her paws.
"I won't blame you if you despise every single current spirit here, until the other Tributes arrive. But do not treat us like rogues, like pure evil. What we're doing isn't right, but it's for the good of not only us, but for the living." She said grimly. "If you have any questions, either ask Leafheart or try and find me. But right now I don't think talking to you is good for either of us." She said, and then trotted off. It was time to checkup on the remaining seven tributes.

Leafheart remained silent as Peachwing began her lecture. Honestly, sometimes the she-cat could really drag on. This time however, the older spirit seemed to hit the topic hard and Leafheart nodded her head now and then in agreement. Her face twisted into uneasy disgust when she mentioned that not every cat was happy with the games. "Myself included," she muttered, though had long given up fighting it at this point.
As Peachwing spoke and finished, Leafheart shrugged and pointed her tail at the white cat. "Yes, pretty much what she said." the calico input flatly with a smile. "Sorry dear, but you're dead as dead; and it's quite permanent." she assured the young warrior, only trying to face the female with the hard truth that she herself had, had to face seasons ago.
She turned as Peachwing leaved, and it seemed she had in mind for Leafheart to depart as well. The warrior never had been one for following authority figures, so she stayed seated with a shrug. It was cruel enough to bring such a young warrior here, she couldn't just abandon her. "Peachwing has been here longer than all of us, it's best to listen to her, most of the time. She's quite wise when she wants to be," Leafheart murmured to Tuftfeather quietly.
"So now, I guess I'll be something of your 'buddy' and help you get settled. Ask me anything."
