Diamond limped into the medicine cats den, holding up one of her legs and forcing her others to work harder then usual as they struggled to hold her weight. When she reached the den she flopped down in the center of the clearing and rested her head on her paws. "Forestbreak!" she called as she lay in the center of the den.

Forestbreak sighed. Why were so many people breaking their legs? She peered at Diamondpaw from her herb-sorting place, and then strode purposefully across the floor and stopped in front of the apprentice. "Leg problems, hm?" she muttered. Not this again. The she-cat let out a breath.
"So," she said, shuffling her paws. "What's the problem?" She eyed the comfrey and rush out of the corner of her eye. At least she was used to what to do now.

"Well..." began Diamond, deciding to tell the medicine cat a short version of what happened. "I broke my leg while doing the only thing I had left. (Lol, long story short and at the same time no muse)

Forestbreak blinked. "Um, all right, then. Try wiggling your toes and moving your paw, if you please, so we can make sure it's not just a sprain," she added, turning and grasping a rod of rush in her teeth to use as a brace for the leg. Meanwhile, she pushed some comfrey down from a shelf, to help the bone mend more quickly.
"Need any poppy seeds for pain?" she asked curtly, eyeing the pile of small black seeds from the corner of her eye.

Diamond just shook her head and didn't try to move her leg, she knew it wouldn't work. "I'm not sure if I'll need any poppy seeds, but I do know its broken" she meowed with a sigh.
