Vaporcloud gave a little nod. "Why of course we might." She said, rather unsure of what to think of the situation. Either way, she wouldn't betray Darkstar again.

Hawkspirit sighed. "I just hope that if we DO have a war, the young kits and apprentices won't experience the horrors it can bring." Hawk himself had never experienced a war, but he had heard tales that told of wars with Ice Clan and Tree Clan.

Vaporcloud gave a slow shake of her head. "I hope so too, but, you never know. For the kits, they should be as far away from the battle as possible, but for the apprentices, I believe they would be in war with the other warriors and us. Let's hope CloudClan won't take any lives for themselves either." She said, and wondered if she crossed the line speaking like this.

Hawkspirit nodded, hoping along with Vaporcloud that no young cats' lives would be harshly taken for Cloud Clan's entertainment. There was a long moment of silence between them. Finally, Hawkspirit said, "Well, do you wish to continue on our walk or go back to the clan?" It was past sun-high and the sun was sinking lower, it seemed, by the minute. How long had they been walking?

Vaporcloud gave a little flick of her ear. "I suppose let's head back to the clan." She said with a smile, then faced toward camp, and started heading back to camp.
