Effy sighed, it was a very boring day and she had absolutely nothing to do. No one was awake, or at least no one that she knew or that wanted to play with her. What could she do on a day like this? Then she had an idea. She had heard rumors that if you went to the elder's den and were very polite, you might just get to hear a story from TreeClan's elder, Moonpool. Well, it was worth a try. She padded over to the den, and walked in, hoping that Moonpool was awake. Um.....Hello? she squeaked into the silent den.

(First kit to visit me as an elder -fist pump-)
Moonpool had been grooming himself this morning, ticks seemed to be very active in the elder's den recently and he was trying to make sure none got to him. Fierce licks went over his fur as he took care of each itchy spot that could possible be hosting a tick, he was over-obsessing over the ticks that he didn't seem to have. He nipped at his back side before ending his personal wash. With a yawn he settled himself down onto his nest, folding his paw under his rough pelt. He almost started to doze off when a small voice called into the den, the elder's ears pricked up and he turned to see a small kit poking her way into the den. It was his newest grand-daughter Efflorescencekit, the kit seemed to be out and exploring already and Moonpool let out a small smile.
"Good evening there dear, what are you doing today Efflorescencekit?" He asked the young kit beckoning her over with his tail. He had especially payed attention to this newest kit, it was the first kit his daughter had given birth to in a while, and seeing new kits exploring and playing in the clearing was somewhat satisfying.

Hi Moonpool! she squeaked with a happy smile. Moonpool seemed to be really nice, so far at least. Im doing fine, I was wondering....may I please hear a story? she asked. This is so exciting! She might actually get to hear a story. Moonpool did seem to like her, after all. She was very excited.
