Cat...or Dog?

I have argued OVER AND OVER AND OVER about this subject! I know this is a Warriors website and most of you are going to say cats, so say WHY you like whatever animal. Here is my answer:

I personally like cats because they don't shed as much, and it feels a lot nicer to stroke soft cat fur than rough dog fur. My great grandpa got attacked by DOMESTIC dogs 2 times, and almost died. There is a good example why cats are definatly not as dangerous, considering dogs made my great grandpa go to the hospital two times. The second time he was in the middle of nowhere by himself and had to freaking limp to his car while he was bleeding to death. The owners didnt even care that a 90 year old was hurt. So, back to the point. Cats are much more gentle than dogs. Dogs jump up and lick and slobber. Whenever you lay down, dogs crush you beneath their paws and, of course, slobber some more. Slobber, poo, attack, jump, slobber, spit, sloober, pee, jump, poo, slobber. That is the average day of a dog. Did I mention that some people get mad or terrified whenever they see you on a walk with your dog? Okay, you forgot a poo bag, big deal. Then your next door neighbor goes all phsyco because your dog pooed on his lawn. That is my opinion.

I like both but I had good and bad experincesss with both but I love My kittties but I love dogs!!!!!! so I say both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but cats just do what ever they want you can't train a cat you can't run around with a cat outside dogs stick by you no matter what they forgive you and are just plain loveabel and you can't take a cat for a walk play fetch with a stick it your playing with a cat give cats a bone so that is why i love dogs plus i have had dogs my hole life but i still love cats

Hmmm... Another thing, you CAN walk cats! People don't realize that! Has anyone ever heard of a dog park? There is such thing for cats too! and what about outdoor cats? People choose not to walk cats, because cats are too "sensitive". I know this is off topic, but another thing I hear too often is "baseball sucks; you just stand there! Football is awesome!" oh, Im sorry? "you just stand there?!" Baseball is awesome! Baseball is a cat, football is a dog. Both football and dogs are too rough for me! Baseball and cats are fun, but you don't have to run around as much compared to dogs and football. Has anyone noticed that anyone who likes football loves dogs? Weird, right?

yes but duh police dogs there aren't and never will be a police man using a cat on a crime seen dogs stick by you no matter what cats well ya know they do whatever they whant this is off topic but football players do not slober i would know that cause my brother plays football and he dose not slober when he plays dogs are the best and cats are second and dogs if you run around with them it not only gives them exersise but you so take that

I have to say cats, and now I'm going to have to go on a big debate in which I say every fact I know. Firstly, humans have a natural bond with cats. They have gradually come closer to each other and the cat adopted people as their pets. With dogs, its a forced friendship. Humans found some nice friendly wolves, and kept on breeding down the ages using friendly wolves. Don't beleive me, check out Horizon, they did an episode on dogs. Did you know that... I foorgotten the exact figure, but something like a thousand people die from dog slober in the mornings. Cats aren't going to kill you like that. If they wanted to kill you, they'd be nice and give you a quick death, like lions with zebra. Ever heard of Heynas, members of the dog family. They eat their prey alive! Most cats don't play fetch as they are too clever. Dogs are very below cats in that sense. Cats are safe to live with in whatever position you put them in. Although they atomatically asume leadership of the house. Dogs have to be kept below you. If not... then its like two Alphas, let's say. I am not going to go into that detail. Cats can climb trees, they can beat dogs. One cat, scratches dog nose, dog runs of badly hurt. One lion beats a Heyna, a pride of lions beat a pack of heynas. Cats are remembered down history more than dogs. If a dog is man's best friend, then a cat is a woman's. And that makes sense as cats are always remembered as Goddesses or the companion of a female. In the Northern Lights, if you are anyone, like a Lord, you have something like a cat. If your a slave or servant, you have a dog. As previosly mentioned, you can take cats on walks. Ever heard of the musical Cats? All about cats with Dogs being bellow and not as clever? I've never heard of a musical called Dogs. Also, cats won't be smelly and wash, dogs really stink. Sorry all dog owners if I've offended you. Cats are really good for your health, and your expected to live longer with a better life with a cat. Oh, about the walking and exercising. My cat, he is currently 16, ment to be bead and going strong, has taken me on a patrol of his, and shown me new things as well as given me some obsticles, like climbing over things in unusual places. He also has shown me tanks of gass which are hidden. Cats could help the police, they have way better hearing than dogs, check that up on wikipedia if you don't believe me, so they can hear that sort of stuff. The only problem is training them as they are too clever to do a mere dog's work. Besides, what cat needs training. People kepp cats when they live near volcanoes. That cat is an early warning system. They can tell you before the eruption. There is a case of a queen carrying her kittens to safty which warns her owners that the eruption was going to happen. Also, cats can sense when Earth quakes are going to happen. I may like wolves, but cats reign superior to all animal life forms on earth. Come one, they're not destroying the planet. If humans worked more ecofriendly, then we would be better.

Dogs are not cute. Cats are cute. Dogs will rip your heads off. Only poodles are fuzzy, and their are a breed of cats which are more fuzzier if you take into account the differant body sizes. You can train cats to use human loos.

i have two dogs and not one single one has ever slobbered. there two small fuzzy dogs. they run about and i have one cat and i love her. so i cant debate. (i now a bit off topic)

Dogs.
Cats are boring. They don't play with you very much and they sleep all day long (or mine does at least). A dog will protect you whereas cat will just walk away. Dogs are more loyal and filled with energy. You can get active with a dog with walking it and playing with it but you can't with a cat, because they sleep alot.

And who says dogs will rip your head off? it all depends on the breed, training and owner. Like if someone had a Pit Bull and the owner trained it for fighting then yeah it'll tear you up. But if the owner was kind and put some training in then the Pit Bull can be like a Golden Retreiver. All dog breeds are diffrent for example a Chichua (or whatever) will be more likely to bite you vs. a Lab.

You can also train dogs to use human tools. Ever heard of those dogs who help handicap people? never seen a cat do anything like that.
