Windflurry only <3
Maplefrost popped into the den with a limp, two mice dangling from his jaws. He dropped the prey near the entrance and glanced around, ears flicking. "Windflurry, you awake?" the Maine Coon called quietly.

She rose to her paws with a nod. "Yes just merely taking a rest." She smiled happily. She hadn't gotten any visitors, well it was considering the Clan had become just as much of a barren wasteland as usual.
"Hello Maplefrost. How are you?" She inquired.

He perked up upon noticing the tabby. "Nap time?" Maplefrost inquired with a grin. He grabbed the mice again, tossing one toward his ex-mentor/mate and lying down next to Windflurry with the other.
"I'm doing pretty well, but that battle with TreeClan's deputy made my leg injury flare up again. Oh well, I figured I'd bring you a snack and keep you company. Anything happening around here lately?"

"Not tired, never am." She joked, with a grin. "You know me, I never tire out." She flicked an ear. as he mentioned the battle against TreeClan. "Ah yes.. I remember that very well.. I was pretty darn good though. I've got more sly in me then a fox." She said in amusement. "No but I do hope me being insulting made that med-head think twice about coming to our territory looking for his herbs. TreeClan is full of vegetation, the mountains have nothing in comparison. You'd think he'd have enough there." She scoffed.
"That's awful!" She said in remark to his comment about his injured leg. "But you fought well nonetheless." She added with a nod. "Good, I enjoy the company." She smiled. "Also not much, not since the amount of kits has dropped yet again." With a shrug she looked at her mouse. "Also thank you for the meal." She took a bite.

"Should've known. I wonder how your mentor ever kept up with you back then?" Maplefrost chuckled slightly and started to nibble at his mouse. "Usually it's the apprentice that gets tired, if anything."
"You were great during the battle. Of course, I was busy with that fish-deputy, but I think that medicine cat learned his lesson. I wonder why he didn't just stay in the forest? There are probably more than enough herbs there." He twitched his ear and shrugged. "I might have to see Brightflame about my leg if he's around soon."
A lick of his lips got a scrap of mouse fur off his face. "I am worried that there aren't many kits..."
