Leafpaw lifted the paw. It hung limp and loose from her foreleg. Plus, it hurt. "Waaaaasspwinnnng!" She wailed, being the brat she was.

(Oh my god at first I thought you meant your leg was literally hanging off of your body and I almost flipped eue)
Waspwing flinched at the sight, and rushed to get a stick and cobwebs. "Oh my, what happened to you?" He questioned, grabbing some borage and marigold as well. The leg definitely appeared to be broken, which would be the first break in quite some time.

(...It would be nice if you could make your posts a liitttlleee longer, so I have /something/ to actually make a response to >.>)
Waspwing paused and looked at the apprentice. "You.." He didn't even bother to comment on how pathetic she now appeared, and instead hobbled over and began checking the leg for any serious scrapes. "It looks like you have a pretty nasty sprain, but you'll be fine within a quarter moon or two." He told her, pasting chewed up borage and marigold onto the leg. "Don't put any unnecessary weight on the leg, and don't do anything other than resting until I say so. Am I understood?"

Leafpaw's shoulders slumped. "Do I have to?" She pleaded, her ginger face a sharp mask of disappointment. "I can walk! See?" She struggled up. Then a sharp pain stabbed her leg. "Nevermind." She hissedd.

Waspwing huffed in amusement and shook his head. "Yes. A slight delay in your training won't hurt you." He mumbled before finishing his patchwork. "Alright, you're free to go tell your mentor, or clean a den, or whatever."

"Okay." Leafpaw muttered around her gritted teeth. "I'll.. do that." With a mighty grunt, she pulled herself up and trudged away.
