Sagefur sighed. She had it again. And she wasn't ready to talk to Waspwing. She remembered when she was just a young apprentice, coughing and having to go into Waspwing and how much the old medicine cat despised coughing. She had to make sure not to get him angry this time, or he would definitally be on his bad side. She quietly padded in, making sure he wasn't asleep. "Waspwing?", she called. "I think I have that cough again.....the one I got when I was an apprentice.", she explained.

(OHGOD CANT BREATHE YOU TYPOD AND SAID YOU HAD TO GO INSIDE WASPWING. DYINGHELP)
Waspwing sighed as Sagefur entered the den. It was no secret that he disliked it when she, as well as dozens of others, entered his den for just about anything. Some things he understood, like battle wounds or bites or scratches from animals, and as kits or apprentices he even got accidental injuries. But he couldn't stand it when warriors came into his den with stupid things like thorns in their paws, or a ripped claw, or a sprained ankle or leg from hunting.
But the absolute worst, out of everything he had ever seen, was when a cat came in coughing. He knew sickness during this time of the year was almost completely unavoidable, but he still hated the sound of cats coughing in his den. So when little Sagefur entered, sounding rasp and gross, he knew he'd be in for a world of dread.
Once she was done explaining her symptoms he sighed, shook his head, and padded over to his herb store. "Colds certainly seem to be attracted to you, Sagefur." He muttered, grabbing a couple leaves of catmint. "Take these, they should hopefully help you get better. Stay in here tonight. You may have white-cough, and the Clan can't afford having you spreading that around while it's so small." He said grimly, sliding the leaves over to her.

Sagefur tried not to feel bad as the old medicine cat sighed when he saw her. She knew he couldn't help it, hating coughs and even her, but still, she couldn't help but feel a little offended. Not that she would let it show, not one bit. She just wanted to get out of this den as soon as she could, but based on what Waspwing said next, that was not very likely to happen. "Yes, I suppose they do.", she meowed calmly. He was right, though. She did get a lot of colds, and they seemed to be getting worse as she got older. Hopefully they would stop eventually. She had to keep herself from wincing when she smelled the awful stench of the herbs that she had to eat. She never liked how they smelled, and their taste was even worse. And out of most of the cats in the clan, she had probably had the most experience, besides the medicine cats, of course, with getting treated with these awful things. Despite this, however, she took them obediently. "Yes Waspwing.", she said, eating the herbs, trying to keep a straight face as she practically choked them down. "I understand.", she nodded, and lyed down.
