 (Twisted paw, possibly broken) Dappledkit limped in to the Medicine Cat's den.  "Help!" she yowled.

Forestbreak stood up, a few dried leaves in her mouth. She spat them out into the corner of her den, the padded up to the two apprentices. She dipped her head cordially. "Hello, you two. Her paw is hurt, hm? That's too bad. What's your name, dear?" she asked, turning to the injured apprentice. "Don't worry, we'll get you fixed right up and you'll be back on your feet in no time. It'll probably just take a bit of rest first."

The medicine cat came closer to Dappledpaw and crouched down to examine her paw. "Hm. How did you hurt it?"

"My name is Dappledpaw. I tripped over a stone and landed on it wrong." Dappledpaw explained quietly.

[Forestbreak]

Forestbreak sighed. "I see. Do be more careful in the future. FireClan needs healthy warriors in its ranks, especially with leaf-bare coming up," she mused half to herself. She inspected the paw a little more, carefully craning her neck to look for twisted joints.

"Tell me: does it hurt badly if you move you toes?" the medicine cat asked.

"Yes." Dappledpaw replied. She tried to move her toes. She winced, it hurt.

[Forestbreak]

"Then it's probably broken," she sighed. "It's all right. You won't be able to train for a little while, and you'll have to stay mostly off your feet for some time, but you're young, and the bone will heal fairly quickly and completely. The break isn't bad. Don't worry too much about it," Forestbreak reassured the apprentice.

"Now, there are a few things I'll have to do. First of all, I'm going to give you some herbs that will help the bone heal faster. Then, I'm going pop the bone back into place and brace your leg with a stick of rush. That might hurt a bit. Are you okay with all of that?"

(Okay. You will have to RP with the injury for a week, meaning no training for a week, or RPing running around, or that sort of thing.)

"Ok." Dappledpaw replied. She braced herself for the pain.

[Forestbreak]

Quickly, Forestbreak placed one paw against Dappledpaw's leg, and used the other paw to quickly apply pressure below it. The bone snapped audibly back into place, and the medicine cat grimaced. But she drew her breath in, shook it off, and placed the rush she had put aside against Dappledpaw's foot. The tabby expertly picked up a bundle of cobwebs in her mouth and wrapped them securely against the rush, fashioning it into a tight brace.

"You're all done. Do you need some poppy seeds for the pain?" she asked.

"No thanks." Dappledpaw limped. "Thank you Forestbreak."
