Lionkit wobbled into the large den trying not to cry out in pain. He had woken up in the morning with a slight toothache, which he had managed to ignore pretty well. However now he had two hurting teeth, which he couldn't ignore at all. He hadn't even bothered going to Littlepool about it, since he had already been out in the camp. Plus it was kind of cool to be able to walk into the dusty, herb smelling den.
He actually managed to forget about his tooth pain for a few seconds as he stared at the den. It really seemed more like a cave than anything, the walls and ceiling showing no signs of sunlight or warmth, however he still felt protected within the confined walls. In the back he noticed several mossy beds, a couple of which seems to be occupied by warriors. To the right he noticed a dip in the ground, and just over the edge he could make out a few berries piled on top of a large leaf, which seemed to be crumbling. "Wow.." He whispered, walking over to the mound to get a better look of the herbs.

Amber eyes narrowing into slits, lips parting into a snarl, Waspwing tried his best not to approach the small intruder until it spoke. However the young thing began wandering over to his herb stash, and Waspwing knew too well that wouldn't end nicely. He slithered out from his hiding space, a tangle of moss he had been sleeping in ever since Koisplash and Sagefur had come to him with coughs. He loomed over the tiny little tom, waiting for him to notice. Usually he was nicer to kits, well, not really this scary, but he didn't care today.
Toothaches. Ugh.

Lionkit watched as a shadow began to appear over his own, and he looked behind to see the scariest looking cat he had ever seen, if it was even a cat. He screeched loudly and fall backwards, falling and scattering several piles of leaves, berries and seeds. "PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!" He begged, scrambling farther into the mounds of herbs.

Waspwing snarled as the tiny scrap fell into his neatly, recently organized herb piles. He raised his scarred leg, trying to keep himself from swatting at the kitten's ears. He hesitantly lowered it again, however he continued to snarl at the brown-and-white torbie. "Oh you idiot!" He hissed, brushing some leaves of tansy to the side, hoping to save them. "Didn't your mother ever teach you not to sneak into the Medicine Cats' Den? Now I'm going to have to collect a bunch of these herbs again, thanks to you." He growled, piling up the tansy leaves he had saved. "Now get out of my herb storage!"

Lionkit trembled as he scattered himself from the piles of herbs. For a few seconds he just watched the Medicine Cat in horror, but finally he managed to find something to say. "I'm...Sorry. I was only looking, but you scared me.." He whispered.

Waspwing rolled his eyes and continued sorting the herbs. "You shouldn't have been nosing around anyway." He grumbled, moving some juniper berries aside. "Besides, what do you want?"

Lionkit decided not to reply to the first comment, but finally remembered why he had come in the first place. "Well...My tooth hurts. Can you fix it?"

Waspwing glanced at the kit and shook his head. In two and a half years of being Medicine Cat he had never witnessed a toothache. Thaankffuullyyy he still remembered how to heal it. "Uhh, hm, yeah just let me finish sorting these last couple piles of herbs." He mumbled.

Lionkit smiled and watched as Waspwing piled some prickly leaves on top of each other. "So, what do those leaves do?" He asked quietly.

Waspwing sighed, knowing this conversation was bound to turn into a boring lecture about how the kit didn't need to know what all herbs did. "Alright, so, lets get that tooth all fixed up, shall we?" He purred, grabbing some alder leaves. "These leaves will soothe the pain, and sadly that's all I can do for you." He mumbled between chews.

Lionkit nodded and smiled. "Hey, if it'll help, that's all I want." He said politely, waiting for the Med. Cat to finish..chewing the herbs..

Waspwing nodded and placed the mushed alder leaves on a dried oak leaf in front of Lionkit. "Alright, eat up." It then dawned on him that his role-player is stupid because Waspwing should have just given the leaves to Lionkit to chew up himself. Oops.
Waspwing then turned to the herb store and rolled out two poppy seeds towards Lionkit. "Alright, those will help you get a little sleepy. I always find a good nap is earned after a bad toothache." He purred, finally warming up a little.

Lionkit lapped up the chewed up leaves and quickly swished them around his teeth and then swallowed them. He, too, realized Waspwing's roleplayer's mistake and simply huffed in amusement. He then quickly lapped up the poppy seeds and smiled at Waspwing. "Thank you Waspwing. And sorry again about messing up your herbs!" He called as he bounded back to the Nursery.
