The apprentice lay splayed out on his back, not bothering to contain himself to his own nest. There were hardly any other cats in the den anyway, Redpaw doubted anyone would mind the fact he was taking up more than his share of space. The entire Clan seemed so dead. He hadn't seen anyone he'd formally met around camp, and even the strangers were sparse. He had about given up on training now; both his last two mentors had seemingly disappeared.
The tom heaved a sigh, then rolled over and sat up in his nest, shaking off the bits of his best clinging to his pelt. Hello? Redpaw called out, in some dull hope that someone would answer him.

Cloudpaw wandered around the den. She looked at the cat sprawled across his nest and almost laughed out loud. She managed to keep it in and padded up to him. I looked sad. "Hello," She said dipping her head and smiling sweetly. "Are you alright?" She asked sweetly.

Ivypaw watched from the shadows of the den, looking at the two cats. She had seen Redpaw just laying sprawled out on his nest, and thought it was hilarious. She was just about to prank him until another unknown apprentice came in. Ivypaw snickered and thought of a prank to play on both of them, if she had the chance. For a second she wondered if she should go over and introduce herself. But instead, the she-cat tried to stay silent in the shadows, watching for the perfect time to strike a prank.

Briarpaw padded into the den after a stroll around camp and stretched her back in the entrance. Opening her back in a wide yawn she glanced around and went and sat by an odd pair of a white and red apprentice.
