Viperkit walked inside the medicine den and was instantly surrounded by the smell of herbs. She padded over to the first cat she saw, assuming it was a medicine cat, as they were sorting herbs. "Hello. I accidentally cut my lip while I was playing. I know it's not too bad but I don't want it to get infected." She shuffled her paws, unsure of what to expect. |

Viperkit, kits can't know herbs or their uses outside of poppy seeds and cobwebs. Only medicine cats do.

Forestbreak smiled. "A cut lip, hm? I'm sorry about that. What happened while you were playing that cut it?" She turned around from her herb sorting, gingerly placing a pungent leaf on the ground next to her. The medicine cat didn't know this kit, but then again, sh didn't know many of them.
"Don't worry, it's small and probably won't end up getting infected. Still, better safe then sorry, right?" Her smile widened and she turned back around, rummaged through her herbs for a moment, and pulled out a small sprig of marigold. "This should be enough to stave off infection. Now, stand still and straight so I can apply this to your mouth."

(I changed the name of the tread and my first message a bit so it's allowed)
Viperkit stood as still as she could while the medicine cat applied the herds to her cut, though she did shiver a bit. When she was finished, Viperkit smiled, knowing this cat was not one to be shy too as she was so friendly. "I was jumping around and trying to catch a leaf when I closed my mouth too quickly and one of my long teeth cut my lip." She explained, opening her mouth so that the medicine cat could see her two unusually long front teeth. "I happens quite a bit, actually, but this time the cut was deeper and I didn't want to get it infected." She bounced in the air, happy with her explanation.

Forestbreak squinted. "Ouch. Your teeth are a little bit long, aren't they? It probably won't cause you too much trouble, but if you want to keep them from getting any longer, you should probably chew on sticks or tough bark from time to time to keep them ground down," she advised her. The medicine cat began chewing the marigold into a poultice, then carefully dabbed it around the kit's cut lip. "There. It's not bleeding very badly, and cobwebs would be uncomfortable on your mouth, so I won't put any on."
She nudged the kit's shoulder. "Be careful, and try not to cut your lip any more, okay?"

"Okay! Thank you for healing me!" She nodded to the medicine cat and padded out the door. Secretly, she didn't want to make her fangs go down to normal size but she didn't say anything. She would just be alot more careful now not to cut her lip. If the medicine cat had to treat her same wound again because she didn't follow her advise, well Viperkit didn't even want to think of what would happen.

Forestbreak purred. "You're welcome. Remember the sticks and bark, all right?" she called after the kit, then calmly began putting the remainder of the herbs away. Once she'd finished that, the medicine cat padded back to her nest, curled into a ball, and fell asleep.
