(Open to one person.)
Tigerpaw sat over by the edge of the den, in her new nest. She knew it was colder out there rather then in the center of the den, but who would let her be the most warm? Her friends? She sighed. What friends? Maybe she had 3? Facing the wall of the den, Tigerpaw curled up into a ball with her tail over her nose, with a small hope that somebody would come near.

Cinderpaw knew that his training period would be coming to a close soon. The young tom realized it as soon as he noticed he was one of the biggest cats in the apprentices den. He loved his younger denmates, choosing to tease them playfully whenever he got the chance. It was a mixed sensation he felt about the inevitable transition from apprenticeship to warriorhood. On one paw, he was excited to become a full grown warrior of TreeClan, but on the other, Cinderpaw felt reluctant to leave his denmates behind. He had never been close with the older apprentices before, and now was regretting being so shy when he was younger.
As the young cat made his way into the den, he noticed the younger apprentice laying alone. He quietly shimmied closer to the young apprentice, his whiskers just barely brushing hers when he stopped, a devious grin on his face. "You alive?"

Tigerpaw perked her head up as she heard another cat enter the den. He seemed bigger than most of the apprentices, so Tigerpaw guessed he would be leaving the apprentice den sometime soon. As he approached her, she tried to make her expression not lonely, but more defiant as she usually was. "You alive?" Tigerpaw let out a small snort. "Of course I'm alive, you mouse-brain," she hoped she didn't sound rude. Lately she had been trying to calm her fiery side, but it was weird. Why can't cats just like me for who I am?
She gave her head a small shake, hoping the older apprentice didn't see it. "I'm Tigerpaw," she mewed, trying to start a conversation.

The young tom flopped onto his side, twisting his neck almost awkwardly so he could still face the younger cat with the same orientation. The gray cat's whiskers twitched as he laughed, tail tip flicking mischievously.
"Cinderpaw," he introduced himself with a grin. "What're you doing sitting here alone? Shouldn't you be training or something?" Cinderpaw's ears swiveled around quickly, making sure no other cats were calling him out for being a lazy bum either. How ironic that would be.

Mossybelly hadn't taken her training for a bit. "My mentor started to show me the territory, but kind of broke off in the middle," she sighed. All the other apprentices are practically warriors, but here I am, still stuck on my first training session." She decided she shouldn't bother Cinderpaw with her own worries. "What about you? Almost done with your training?"

The tom nodded his response as best as he could from his current position. "I'll probably be a warrior before the snow melts," he didn't want to sound too confident, but Cinderpaw did feel a bit of pride in coming so far since his days as a bumbling kit. "Don't worry, you'll pick up things as you go anyways. You'll be a warrior in no time," he smiled.

(Ah! Sorry. Got busy with adorable art >.>)
Tigerpaw was happy for the almost-warrior. I a bit jealous, but happy. She wondered what a nicer cat would say. "Well, then congrats in advance, young warrior," she thought that seemed suitable. "Thanks." Tigerpaw lay down and tucked her paws under her chest. A question occurred to her that she still didn't know the answer to. "What is training like?"

( Sorry myself, I was on a trip this weekend. :3 )
"Boring, mostly," The tom sighed, remembering long hours collecting moss or memorizing the territory. "And a lot of hard work. But totally worth it," He nodded, satisfied with his description of his days of learning. "The best part is patrols. It's really great, to be out working with your clanmates. We all bonded a lot that way too," Cinderpaw sighed happily.

"I hope I get to patrol soon," she mewed. She hadn't done much training at all, no hunting or fighting, she had only explored a bit of the territory. She looked forward to training more, even though she knew it would take forever, and probably be boring. Oh well. "What do we do when we're not training? Just sit around?" she asked while rolling onto her back.

"Oh, stars, no!" Cinderpaw laughed, pretending to be more outraged than he actually was for dramatic effect. "You should look for every opportunity you can to practice," The gray cat's whiskers twitched. "I think I volunteered for every patrol my first moon of training. I don't know how I survived it," his ear flicked as he grinned.

Tigerpaw smiled a bit. Cinderpaw was trying to cheer her up, and she appreciated that. "I would if there were more to go on," she meowed. "Do you think maybe you could show me how some fighting moves?" She hadn't learned any yet and she was kind of scared of what would happen if she met with...Briarpelt again. Plus, it give them something else to talk about.

Cinderpaw nodded his answer before thinking about it. Was he allowed to teach the younger apprentices? He didn't see why not, but certainly didn't want any of his elders yelling at him. But he would not break his promise so easily. "Show me a starting stance," Cinderpaw knew better how to correct others than to teach them. "Challengeme," He grinned, preparing his own stance with his legs placed wide for a strong base balance, and his head and body low, tensed for a jump.

(I am so sorry! I lost muse for this thread and then I went on vacation and ERGH)
Tigerpaw crouched down into more of a hunting pose, trying to make her crouch look like it was unstable, even though she felt like not even a lion could tip her over. Her tail swished as she decided on where to attack first. She suddenly darted behind Cinderpaw, then tried to pull his legs out from under him by hooking them with her paw.
(I'll work on getting my muse back x.x)
