Koisplash couldn't say she hadn't been expecting Waspwing's dissent. It was only reasonable, given her present state, but it still irritated her. If there was one thing she hated above all, it was sitting passively and waiting for things to happen instead of being involved in them herself. She had to move, had to do something, anything, just not to be doing nothing. It was a little confusing.

She perked up slightly at the suggestions, however. Koisplash was familiar with Shadowbird, but not too much with Scarhealer. "Shadowbird's a good choice," she agreed. "And Scarhealer. But they can't be the only ones suitable. Maybe...who else is there? I can only mostly think of who wouldn't be right for it. I couldn't list them all if I had a week to do it."

Waspwing shook his head and shrugged. "The only other cat I can think of is Harrowingpride, but she's claimed she wants to go back into retirement, and after here I can only think of Littlepool, who should stick with the kits." He muttered, beginning to pace impatiently from his herbs to Maplefrost's unconscious body. Who else in the Clan was smart enough and fit enough for this task? He stopped and sighed, looking back to the injured Deputy. "As...Crabby as he's been lately, what if we send Greenflare with them? He seems a bit itchy for a fight, but Shadowbird and Scarhealer would never let him attack a rude Iceclanner without absolutely good reason." This was his last idea, and he wasn't even happy with it himself.

If Koisplash had been drinking something at that moment, she would've spat it out at the mention of Greenflare in Waspwing's suggestions. Instead, she just blinked. "Well...I'll admit he's not as bad as a lot of others I could name," she said. "But I don't really trust him to control himself or listen to Clanmates in another Clan. I think Shadowbird and Scarhealer could do fine on their own."

Harrowingpride and Littlepool did sound good to her, too, but like Waspwing said, they had to stay in TreeClan. She wrapped her tail around her paws. "So, is it decided then? Should we tell them?"
