Tigerpaw padded into the den with a plump sparrow she had picked from the fresh-kill pile for the elders. She knew there was really only one at the moment but she didn't mind much. She dropped the sparrow, then rolled a large wad of moss inside as well. She was planning on cleaning the bedding if it was needed, who else would? It's not like any of the other apprentices would do it. In some ways, she made her secret care and love for her clanmates pretty obvious.
Walking farther into the den, she searched for signs of life, wondering where else the old warriors of TreeClan would be. She shuffled her paws, still waiting for anyone to appear, then self-consciously turned herself so anyone inside couldn't see her scar at first. Nobody else thought it was a big deal, but it had a much worse meaning for Tigerpaw. Plus, you wanted to make nice impressions, blah blah blah.
Eventually she got impatient and called, "Hello? Anyone in here? I have a nice piece of prey for you!" Tigerpaw hoped somebody was there, she didn't want to look like an idiot.

(I go from no threads to a million -dies)
Moonpool had been out to speak with his clan-mates this morning before everyone left for patrols, a quick conversation with his daughter or a lecture from Waspwing were not to uncommon with him being in the camp much more often now. He had a small tang of disappointment to know he was no longer leading the morning patrols like he used to but he was older now and he knew that. He walked over to the fresh-kill pile and glanced at it with confusion, "Some mouse-brain took that sparrow" He growled to himself with frustration, he had his eyes on it all morning. Snorting and lashing his tail he decided to make his way back to the den, no many cats were left in camp now so the clearing had become dull.
The elder made his way into the den to see a small brown tabby in the center of it calling out to no one. He walked up from behind and tapped on her back with a curious paw. " Erm dear are you looking for me?" He asked is a quite tone, cocking his head a tad making his torn ear twitch. He then saw that in her jaws was the plump little sparrow he had been wanting all morning and his tongue ran across his muzzle. "I see you are the little rogue that took my sparrow this morning" he teased as he glanced at the bird with a hungry stomach.

Tigerpaw mentally smacked herself in the face. She hadn't expected Moonpool to be outside, and she wasn't turned correctly to hide her right side. Nobody else cares, don't worry about it, she told herself. "I got it for you," she meowed, hoping he wasn't too mad. Gesturing to the pile of moss nearby she asked,"Do you need your bedding changed? I have some moss right here."
(Well I thought I would do better than one paragraph! Oh well...)

Moonpool gave an affectionate nod of satisfaction , " I had my eyes on this sparrow this morning, when I went off to have a chat with the patrol that was getting ready to leave you must have snatched it up." He blabbered on as he picked up the bird. He hushed himself as she began to speak in her quite tone, the elder's green eyes slowly moved over to the pile of moss.
" Oh let me place this down just a second , I will be over there to help you in just a moment Tigerpaw." He insisted as he walked over to the small clearing in the den and placed the sparrow down. The elder glanced around at the nests and flicked his ear. "Thank you for coming in to change the bedding I usually just do it myself" He explained with a grateful, toothy grin. " Now my nest could use some new moss, Rainfeather would be at my throat if her nest did not get her bedding freshened up... besides that I think all the nests are quite fine." He concluded walking over to the tabby cat and moss, grasping a bit of moss in his mouth he gave her a nod. "Let's get to work then" He roughly purred .

Tigerpaw realized she should probably introduce herself as the elder was probably confused as to who in CloudClan she was. "I'm Tigerpaw," she meowed before picking up some more moss and following Moonpool to a nest. She started pulling out the pieces that had a faint stinky scent on them. When the dirtier pieces were clean she rolled them into a small ball, wrinkling her nose as she did so.
Tigerpaw looked around again to make sure that they had cleaned all the nests, but since there were only two or three that were being used, there wasn't much to clean. It looked like the other nests didn't need it anyway. "Well that didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. I would go back out but I have nothing to do right now..."

(Sorry I forgot about this thread for a bit, I have a terrible memory when it comes to things like this ^^')
Moonpool shook his thin but slightly muscular frame to get bits off moss out of his pelt. He was rolling the old moss into a neat ball by kneading it a tad, "Oh I know who you are Tigerpaw, you are my clan-mate after all.... I may be in this den most the time but I do make it a habit of knowing everyone's name." He told her without looking up from the moss. He pushed the moss ball to the entrance of the den, it could be thrown out into the forest later but not while he had company.
The elder flicked his ear with slight disappointment, the young she-cat was very nice and one of the few aprentices that has ever taken more than just a second to help out in the elder's den. "You do not have to stay if you do not want to Tigerpaw, I know it can be pretty dull in here sometimes" he explained glancing around the den with the slight roll of his head. His yellow teeth poked out of his mouth as he glanced at the roof of the den.

"I wouldn't mind if you wanted some company, I don't have much of anything else to do at the moment," she meowed, organizing the moss piles before sitting and wrapping her tail around her paws. "Sometimes you just need a few minutes to get away from the worries of life," Tigerpaw mewed. She hoped that Moonpool wouldn't low that she was talking about Briarpelt. She always felt like she had to look over her shoulder to make sure that she wasn't behind her, her claws unsheathed and her eyes gleaming evilly. That's what Tigerpaw's nightmares would be like. Sometimes she was afraid to go to sleep, even though Briarpelt slept in another den and would surely be noticed if she snuck out. She pushed thoughts of the warrior away and returned her attention to Moonpool.
"What's it like being an elder?" she meowed, trying to strike up a conversation.
