New and Finally Here! (Shadowpaw/open)

[Onyxclaw]

OnyxPAW entered the apprentices den with pride and and happiness. He had waited a very long time to get here and now he was here! Onyx couldn't wait to see his best friend Shadowpaw. She had gotten her ceremony too around the same time he did. Onyxpaw looked around for Shadpwpaw or anyone familiar.

[Shadowfrost]

Shadowpaw burst out of the Apprentices den and , of course, ran strait into Onyxpaw. She tumbled to the ground, her paws tangled in his. She coughed and rolled away, her head throbbing. "Ugh, oh Onyxpaw! Are you okay?"

[Onyxclaw]

Onyxpaw grunted with surprise as Shadowpaw knocked him over and got tangled with her paws. He suddenly grinned and laughed. "Hello, Shadowpaw. Having some trouble, there?" he asked.

[Shadowfrost]

"No, not at all." She shook her head and sat up slowly, her pelt sticking up wildly. "Well that was exciting." She grinned at Onyxpaw. "Lets do it again!"

[Onyxclaw]

Onyxpaw laughed as he sat up. "Ok!" He lunged at Shadowpaw and tacked her to the ground, acting like a kit but not really caring.

[Shadowfrost]

(sorry I took so long! Was on a holiday)

"No! That's not fa-" Shadowpaw twisted around so that when Onyxpaw landed on her, she was facing him and started pummelling his belly with sheltered claws. "That's not fair! I meant I wanted to surprise YOU again!"

[Onyxclaw]

Onyxpaw laughed as Shadowpaw started to pummel his belly without using her claws. "St-stop! You're-you're tickling me, Shadow!" Onyx said as he laughed. He fell back from Shadowpaw and landed on his back, trying to regain his breath.

[Shadowfrost]

Shadowpaw growled and sat up, her ears flat. "You know, if I didn't have my claws sheltered, I'd have shredded you." She licked her paw and drew it slowly over her ear. "You just wait until we go to battle training."

[Onyxclaw]

"Oh yeah!" Onyxpaw replied, suddenly remembering his training schedule. "I have battle training, like, today or tomorrow!" he said excitedly, practically hopping.

[Shadowfrost]

"Great! Could you show me some of your moves you've learnt so far?" She crouched down, her tail fuzzed up in excitement.

[Onyxclaw]

"Well, I haven't really learned any techniques. Just how to pounce and dig my claws into an enemy!" Onyxpaw said with a smile. He crouched and leaped on an imaginary cat, digging his claws into the dirt. "See? Like that." He looked back at Shadowpaw with a smile. "Wanna give it a try?" Onyx asked.

[Shadowfrost]

She grinned. "Sure." Shadowpaw growled and crouched down low, her tail puffing up in excitement. She focused on a leaf a few tail-lengths away and leapt at it, catching it in her claws and shredding it to pieces. Her landing was not as graceful, however. She landed with a thud on her side, her claws mattered with bits of leaf. Shadowpaw laughed and sat up, shaking herself off. "Well that was fun!"

[Onyxclaw]

Onyxpaw laughed as Shadowpaw landed on her side and laughed also. "Well, pretty good for your first try, Shadow! I'm sure your enemy will never expect when you land on them side-first like that!" he teased with a toothy grin. He padded over to her, jumping on her gently. Onyxpaw pinned her and pretended to scratch her with his paws. "There. Like that." Onxypaw smiled as he looked at his friend, not meaning to stare.

[Shadowfrost]

Shadowpaw squirmed, trying to get away from Onyx. She didn't like being pinned, no matter who was pinning her. After a moment, she huffed and lay still, admitting defeat. Shadow glared up at her friend, "okay, okay. You win. Now get off me you big mouse-brain." She then grinned, showing that she was only kidding. "But, seriously. My ear is itchy and I can't scratch it."

[Onyxclaw]

Onyxpaw laughed, rolling off his friend. "Now scratch your ear!" he said with a smile. Onyx sat up and waited for Shadowpaw to scratch her ear since she said she had to.
