I have no idea where to plop this so i picked here.
I had 996 posts and it went down to 960. What happened? Help.

There are two plausible answers to this.
1) Proboards glitched itself and this happened to you.
2) You possibly posted too much too fast and had posts taken away. We do this to people who spam and manage to get dozens/hundreds/etc. amounts of posts within a day or so.
I doubt it was option two, to be honest. Unless you were in 9 active threads at once and spamming in them, you wouldn't have had much reason for it. Please someone would have PM'ed you or posted in a thread about it.
In all honesty, it really doesn't matter for you. You're far beyond being a warrior, and even with 30 posts taken away you'll get those back soon if you RP.
