She padded into the den, hoping Echoflight was right behind her. She padded over to her nest, which was next to Hawkspirit's and Diamondeyes, so she made a nest kind of diagonal her's and Diamodneyes', but still close enough to be next to each other. She sat down in her nest.
"Now, dear Echoflight, you can enjoy bossing apprentice's around, like we used to boss you around " she purred.

"Oh, thanks!" Echoflight purred, smiling at Cheetahfur. "Oh, really? That's not how I remember itm" she added, and glanced back at Diamondeyes, settling herself into her new nest. "Thanks again," she added. "So... How exactly do things work, here in the warrior's den?" |

"Not much diffrent from the apprentice's den, actually." Meowed Cheetahfur. "There are like 2, 3 gangs. One of them consist cats like Greyshadow, those cats who were warriors before us." she meowed. "And then there's The Gang. Consisting cats like me, Diamondeyes, Hawkspirit, Fawnbriar, Cherryheart, and now you!" she purred. "I hope you decide to join our gang." she meowe.

Diamond purred and cuffed her sister gently over the ears, laying down in her nest. 'The Gang' so that's what you're calling us now. Last time I checked the only way the warrior's were split up is in one section its younger warriors like us, in another its senior warriors and then its the deputy. There never were 'gangs.' Diamond smiled and let out a mrrow of amusement. Other than that, its mainly the same as your old den, wake up at dawn go hunt and patrol then come back and sleep basically. Smiling she listened to her sister fill in the young warrior. The others? They'r great! We're all basically friends in here, well at least the younger warriors are. You're gonna love it here and a cat like you will make friends almost instantly.

Diamond purred. No, no, no, you've got it all wrong, see we said Hawkspirit. Hawkbreeze is a senior warrior. She smiled and shifted into a more comfortable position, curling her tail to her side and tucking her paws beneath her. We're happy to help you out whenever you need it, just remember that at least. We're all friends here.

Echoflight nodded absentmindedly until Cheetahfur's words sunk in. "No! I mean... Well, no, not really. I haven't met many nice toms, I guess. The... Well... Graypaw, I guess, but he's... different. Really different." With a small little smile and an amused look, she added, "And even if I did like him that way, he likes someone else." |

Diamond blinked, staying silent as the two she-cats talked, just taking in what they told each-other with pricked ears. I know a tom that I like, though unlike the problem with other toms who simply like another or don't even notice you like them, instead he simply doesn't understand, he knows how I feel and says he feels the same, but I don't quite think he does. Of course, as she usually did, the time Diamond finally spoke she had to confuse everybody by not mentioning any names, though of course her sister would understand.

Echoflight rolled her eyes at Cheetahfur, mewing, "Are you messing with me?"
To Diamondeyes she only listened in silent understanding, and at the end sat back on her haunches, trying to process it all. "But... why would he say he feels the same if he doesn't?" she asked, confused, ever naive. |

Diamond sighed and shook her head. I don't know, but I wish he'd sort himself out and just tell it to me straight. I told him he'd probably hurt me more if he was to lie so as not to hurt my feelings rather than just telling me the truth and hoping I'll get over it. She shrugged it off dismissively and looked at her sister. Surely he would have told you something. I saw you two talking to each other.

She let out a laugh when Echoflight asked her if she was messing with her. "No!" she meowed truthfully, and when Diamondeyes asked her the question, she realized this just got awkward. "Yes, umm, about that..." she meowed, shuffling her paws. "Pige- I MEAN, He said" she meowed. "That he won't ask you to be his mate." she whispered, not audible to anyone, not even herself.
