Faithkit trotted into the elders' den, her golden fur shining and her ember-like eyes bright and kind as she entered, looking fr a cat to tell her a story. Hello? May you please tell me a story? she called out as she sat down, curling her tail neatly over her small paws and waiting patiently to either be told a story or dismissed.

Faithkit let out a purr as her friend padded over to her. You guessed that right she mewed, glancing around the silent den. Maybe they're not awake yet, should we come back later? she suggested, tilting her head.

"I'll tell you a story." She emerged from her nest. "It's about the big beige tabby cat who gobbled up the two little kits!" She gave a teasing growl. "Just kidding." She flicked her tail. "If you want a story, I've got plenty. They're good enough. They don't even need to be sugar coated."

Redstorm hadn't heard the tiny mewls of kits in...Seasons. Up until right now he had truly missed seeing the youngsters dashing around camp, having the time of their little lives, but now that feeling was completely gone as two small, squeaky voices pierced his eardrums. He made some sort of a growling, croaking sound as he sat up, bones popping and hopping and dropping all over his body. Oohhhh how he truly despised the cold weather. His 'shorter' fur was not built for the mountains and their harsh winters like native Iceclanners, and it made his winters so much worse.
He crept over to the two kits, both of which seemed to be apprentice aged, and gave them a toothy grin. "Ello. Haven't seen kits here in a while. Here for a story?" He mumbled, his voice dry and cracked.

(Actually you're correct, I asked five days ago to become an apprentice, but I had to pm the leader cause the thread is locked) Faithkit smiled at the elder as she padded up. I'm Faithkit, I'll be an apprentice soon, I'm already six moons she announced proudly. The golden tabby was undaunted as the she-cat mentioned eating kits, she merely purred and went on. This is my friend Featherkit, and even though I knew you were kidding that actually sounded like an okay story, but we're not fussed are we Feather? She smiled at her friend before looking up as a new elder approached. Yes, we'd love a story. You don't seem like you're used to Leaf-bares in this place as most others seem, neither am I, I wasn't born to this clan though I was adopted by Shadefrost. She dipped her head to both elders and lay down, tucking her paws beneath her hest and waiting for them to begin.

(PFFFFFTT, WILDSTAR HAS ONLY DONE LIKE ONE CEREMONY IN THE PAST TWO YEARS. YOU CAN JUST CHANGE YER NAME AND FIND A MENTOR MATE <3)
Redstorm noted the kit's comment, and nodded slowly. "Ah, you and I share a homeland, then. I was born at the base of the mountains, to my loner parents. They were, unfortunately, killed in a fire when I was very young. I came here and was fortunate enough to be adopted by a lovely she-cat named Bluestream." He said quietly, remembering his first day in the Clan's nursery, shivering as his adopted mother comforted him.
(Fun fact: This is all a true story. Back in 2009 there weren't any Queens, and so kits were adopted by any willing she-cats to be their kits. ;D)

Scorchkit had just stumbled out of the nursery before hearing the elders' voices, mixed in with a few kit voices she hadn't heard before, making her approach with much more caution than before. She was a shy little thing due to her inconfidence in her unique appearance, including her short tail and odd calico fur colouration.
She pads in slowly, her ears back.
"A story.....?" she asks softly in her shy voice, hearing the beggining of Redstorm's tale.

"Excuse me,sir....that start....I've heard s-some stories related to older times of IceClan before....But only one has stood out to me before...I heard about a she-cat that used to be a warrior here....what was her name....Frostflower I think...." Scorchkit tries to say, shyly hoping she wasn't intruding.
"I heard tiny tales of that she-cat...stuff like she was a great warrior at first but...but was tortured by another cat constantly....before she ran away and was never seen again....Do you know her...since you've been here long...?"

(Not gonna reply again until Faith or Wind do, but I just had to comment. OMFG YOU'RE FROSTFLOWER AREN'T YOU? FROSTFLOWER IS REDSTORM'S GRAND-DAUGHTER. HER MOTHER WAS SUNSTRIPE, RIGHT? PM ME, SO WE DON'T SPAM UP THE THREAD eue)
If he could have, he would have raised an eyebrow at the kit's question, and shook his head. "The name Frostflower sounds..Familiar, but I never personally knew someone to that name. That story you heard was probably just, well, a story." He commented, not really knowing who would have told a kit such a sad, rather odd story.

(Sorry I was late, and yes, I PMed a warrior and was accepted to be their apprentice) Faith looked at Redstorm with slightly sad eyes. I never met my parents she admitted with a sigh, word is I was abandoned the day after I was born, so I hadn't even opened my eyes before I joined the clan. She looked down at a younger kit and smiled sweetly. Do you care to join us for a story? she asked in her normally gentle tone, flicking her tail to gesture to a comfortable spot beside her before tucking it neatly over her paws nice more and nodding for Redstorm to continue.
