Brackenkit padded, his head held high, into the den. Though the agony in his front leg was killing him, he was determined not to show weakness. Blood dripped down it. "Yo, Chickas, help my leg." he ordered.

Forestbreak rolled her eyes. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. You again? I remember you. Now, what do you think gives you the right to speak to your elders so rudely?" she mewed, smirking and flopping down onto the den floor. She crossed her paws. "We've been over this before, little dude. I don't have to heal you. No one's requiring me," the medicine cat purred, voice light.
She noticed that his leg was trickling blood. Too bad. If he doesn't learn some respect, he can bleed out, for all I care, she thought.

"Chicka, do it. And you're not an elder. Just a lazy medicine cat." he leapt to her and landed on his bad leg. It buckled under him and he gasped. Blood flooded out and he gasped with pain. But he didn't back off. "Heal - me.." he groaned.

She grinned. "It's so adorable that you think I'm actually going to respond to that kind of attitude," the medicine cat mewed airily, not moving from her comfortable spot on the ground. "And I don't have to be an elder to not tend to misbehaving kits."
As the kit fell and gasped in pain, she still didn't move. "Oh, I'd love to heal you. But I'm not going to unless you apologize for being rude. It's simple, darling. All it takes is an 'I'm sorry for being disrespectful, Forestbreak.' I don't expect an essay. Just a quick apology. Sound good?" she purred.
