Clan Jumping?

I was reading through the bios, and some cats have been in more than one clan.


But I was reading a thread and staff didnt let her clan jump.

How come some people can clan jump and others can't? I so confused sorry.

Multiple reasons.

Forever ago rules weren't as strict, and some didn't even exist. Cats clan-jumped constantly and I truly think some of them just didn't get caught in time.

Another reason, most commonly today, are large plots. For example, Emberstorm in Iceclan, who was originally in Fireclan, got permission for his clan-jump because of his plot.

Another reason, which isn't as common, is staff spots. Hawkstar in Rockclan was previously Hawktalon in Fireclan, but he moved to Rock for his staff spot. Another staff member, Swiftwish, also did this in the past. She was originally in Treeclan, but moved to be a Queen in Rockclan. Of course, she's gone now.

So there are your three most common reasons. Old characters, big plots, or staff.

Also someone like my rogue character has been from FireClan back to DeathClan, but that was with Darkstar's permission. As long as you get permission it's different.
