@treemeow GreenflareWaspwing(ok so this as you may know is the continuation of out last thread) Pain seared the left side of Moonshine's slender frame. She even found limping a difficulty. Grinding her teeth to the point that she though they would dull, she pushed onwards through the camp's entrance. Her silver tabby fur caked with blood, a mixture of the badger's and her own, had begun to harden, making the task of dragging herself to the medicine den even more laborious. She ignored the looks that she received as she proceeded towards Waspwing's den, a place she has only visited twice before. As she pushed her head through, not even checking to see if the others had followed behind her, she called out. "Waspwing, are you there? We sort of got into some trouble with a badger, and you can kind of guess where that went..." She trailed off at the end her throat suddenly clenching up with dehydration. Her vision wavered and Moonshine was forced to lay down or completely pass out. She was on the very edge of consciousness when she shook her head, desperate to stay awake, though considering how much her leg burned, it was proving to be more difficult then she first thought. (Again I'm guessing that the first come first served rules will apply to this thread as well)

Greenflare probably was less injured than the others. He did obtain a few injuries though, mostly along his flank. The biggest sensation of pain was on his right flank, where a deep mark from the badger's sharp claws had grazed him, not lightly. The tom licked off the blood on his left shoulder, where he too had gotten a scratch.
"Anyone can guess, mouse brain."

Treepaw padded silently behind the two older cats filing into the medicine den. She hadn't been in here before, and she was quickly smacked in the face by the stentch of herbs. Treepaw hissed under her breath, the worst stinging pain coming from the side of her face. She had other scars along her flank, but none that felt like this. Then a sudden rush of pride came to her. They'd stopped a badger from invading camp! She thought about that, trying to get her mind off things while they waited for Waspwing.

Waspwing's eyes widened, but he didn't allow himself time to panic or investigate. He quickly grabbed some burdock root, among other herbs, and chewed them into a fine pulp before spitting them on Moonshine's worse wounds. He then proceeded to put some cobwebs on the wounds, and hobbled over to Treepaw. He couldn't help but give her an encouraging smirk as he rubbed some poultice on the wound around the left side of her face. "Well, this must have been excited, even if just a little, for an apprentice, hmm?" He purred as he gently covered the wound wit some cobwebs. "I'm sure those cobwebs and herbs are uncomfortable, and I'm sorry, but you need to make sure that the cobwebs stay intact and clean, alright?" He said in a rush as he dashed back to the herb storage.
"Greenflare, how far into the territory was it? Did it seem like it was gone for good, if you didn't kill it that is." He asked before beginning to chew some more herbs up. Oh if only Fernpelt were here, of if only he had an apprentice to help him.

Moonshine could see Waspwing coming in her direction, a bundle of herbs clenched in his mouth. She winced as he then proceeded to rub a thick poultice onto her worst wounds, she bit her tongue as he also bound them in cobwebs, her right front leg burned in protest. Even when she had received the wounds, she had never felt so much pain in all of her life. Her vision swam as another wave of pain crashed over her.
After what felt like moons, she opened her clenched eyes to see Waspwing move over to Treepaw to treat her injuries. She sighed releasing the tension in her shoulders and suddenly felt the pain beginning to recede. Still her injuries itched and were extremely sore where the poultice had been applied, which left a searing pain whenever the she-cat attempted to move any part of her body.

Greenflare grunted as the medicine cat questioned him about the badger. The black tom flicked his tail once before replying in a gruff voice.
"I believe we were about half way to the border when when smelled her out. Of course, we didn't kill her. We had one warrior with complete battle experience, a warrior without battle experience, and two untrained cats. Half of the time, one of them were on the ground getting their rest."
The tom sat down, snorting at his last comment. He waited for Waspwing to finish with the younger cats, licking his fur once.

Treepaw rolled her eyes at Greenflare's last comment. It wasn't her fault she hadn't been trained yet! Then she went back to Waspwing's question. "Yes, it was really exciting. The badger fought fiercer than I that it would!" The tabby meowed, tilting her head just a little to make sure the cobweb didn't slip off. It stung, but the apprentice knew the herbs would help her in the long run. She glanced at Moonshine, who looked weak. Treepaw hoped that they all felt better soon, even though Greenflare acted like he was fine and used to it, which he probably was. Treepaw waited to see what Waspwing would do next.

Moonshine was thankful that they had all made it back not majorly harmed. Even though she had not seen what had happened to Nightingale, she felt that the loner would have enough sense to find her way out of TreeClan's territory. She sighed relieved to be back were she knew she was safe, and was especially glad that soon she could go back to her own best and sleep. Her body ached with fatigue from enduring her very first battle and was more then ready for a rest.
She glanced down at her leg and winced at the pain that the slight movement of lifting her leg had caused her. Moonshine's green eyes studied the cobwebs that encased the injury and wondered how Waspwing could keep track of every single herb and what it did. Placing her leg back on the ground as gently as she could, the silver tabby began to clean some patches of drying blood from her uninsured leg, her scraped shoulders screaming in protest. Oh well at least it would all be over sooner then later, at least that's what she hoped.
Turning to Treepaw she asked
"How are you feeling Treepaw?"

(Oops I forgotted about this. Just gonna, y'know, not bother with this post)
Waspwing sighed and turned to Greenflare with his medicine and cobwebs. Setting them lightly before him, he glanced back at Moonshine and Treepaw as they spoke. "Mm, well, at least we know where it came from. I'll have someone lead a patrol out in a little bit." He mumbled, mostly to himself, as he began to heal Greenflare the same way he had for Moonshine and Treepaw.
Once done he flicked his ears and sat down a couple of tail lengths away from the three. "You all did well today. And while I may just be a Medicine Cat, I still have the ability to officially compliment you three on your bravery, skill, and your ability to chase the badger of, for now. I can assure you all that what you've done today has helped the Clan tremendously, and you will all be rewarded appropriately." He said, totally serious, even though on the inside he had no idea why he had even said that.

Greenflare just gave a small grunt at the medicine cat's words, flicking his tail as the tom began covering his injuries with cobwebs. The tom sat there while Waspwing worked, his ear twitching once as he began to mull through his head about what had just happened.
It was almost not real enough to process to him.
"Thank you. It was nothing. I've probably been in worse."

(Alright I'm just wrapping this up now)
Waspwing gave him a brief nod, then turned back to the other two. "Alright, everyone, try to get some rest. I'll bring you the best prey I can find from the fresh-kill pile later on." He murmured, padding out of the den with his tail high. Time to inform Koisplash about this.
