Darkkit woke up in a strange field. Where am I...? she thought. But then she saw a butterfly and her senses came alight. She crept forward like a snake, without a sound, like she did when she eavesdropped. Then she gave a tremendous leap and clutched the butterfly between her teeth, and then she let it float to the ground. "Hello?" she called out. "Hello? Is anyone here?" she began to feel very isolated. "Hello?" she said more desperately.
