Burningpaw flicked her ears and bit into the mouse. "I've never been outside of camp before." She mewed, chewing the mouse. Its tangy flavor seeped through her tongue. She swallowed. "So I decided to investigate." She clamped her jaws around the mouse, suddenly famished. "A falcon chased me and I ran and got lost. While I ran I think I scraped my paws on the rock." When she was finished with the mouse, she shifted and started to stand up, but remembered what Sunblaze said earlier and laid back down.

She nodded understandingly as she ate her robin. "No one should be out alone though. Specially kits." Then added hastily. "Not that I'm saying your a kit or anything but you where a kit when I found you...." she trailed off and looked at her half eaten robin

(Nah, I still don't have a mentor yet, so I'm still a kit, though I'm calling myself 'paw')
Burningkit shivered as she had a flashback of what had happened. "Do you know when I'm getting a mentor?" she asked.

Apparently we can't do that. I tried when I first became able to be an apprentice but one of the workers told me that I had to keep my name kit until I got a mentor. Thankfully I did get one.)
"No I don't. Sorry." She looked sympathetic
