Okay, I'm aware that the meddie cat changed. Littlefox
Lotuspetal walked into the medicine cat's den. Limped, actually. The black warrior was doing nothing, but taking a stroll down nowhere land. Well, that DANG thorn was right in her path. Lotuspetal remembered the last time she was here which was WAY long ago, back when she was a kit. With a thorn in her paw. Lotuspetal wondered how Waspwing would react, with a thorn in her paw which had been there for the whole walk. The whole walk. Lotuspetal calmed herself. "Hello?" she mewed. "Anyone?" |

"Coming!" called a voice from the denseness of Waspwing's old herb storage. A ginger and white pelt known as Littlefox slipped into the opening of the medicine cat's den and was greeted by a well-known warrior among the clan. "Oh, how are you, Lotuspetal? Anything I can help you with?"
Averting her gaze to the ebony warrior's hanging paw, she saw a thick splinter sticking out. "Man, thorns seem to be all the rave these days, huh?" she asked and moved closer to examine the paw better. This would be the second thorn she's pulled today, and it was only her first official day as a medicine cat. "Now I'm sure you've heard this before, but this is going to hurt a little."
Clamping her front teeth on the blunt edge, Littlefox plucked it out and dropped it in front of her.

"I really thought Waspwing would come up to me and chew me out for calling him 'Littlefox' and then yank my thorn out!" Lotuspetal purred after getting over the searing pain from the thorn and how Littlefox already knew her name. "Thanks...." Lotuspetal winced at her sore paw. "Thorns seem to love me."

The ginger she-cat laughed lightly and made her way to the other side of the den to rummage through her herb store a bit, pushing stacks of leaves into place.
"You might actually be able to pull a thorn out on your own, next time. I'd give you some tansy and a poppy seed, but I doubt a little thorn could do that much damage to one of TreeClan's senior warriors. Lick it thoroughly and if it keeps hurting or starts swelling, come see me again, alright?"

"Sure, thanks!" Lotuspetal hadn't ever tasted poppy seeds before. Or maybe she forgot the taste.
