Ivypaw sat in the corner of camp, gently grooming herself as the sky turned to a peachy shade of pink. The sun was setting after a long, slow day in RockClan. After her pelt was smooth and clean, Ivypaw stretched and looked for somewhere else to be. She figured maybe if she went to the apprentice den, she'd see her friends, or make a new friend her age. The sandy-colored cat bounded over and slipped into the den. It took a minute for her eyes to adjust as she padded over to her nest. Ivypaw stayed standing and looked for someone to talk to. "Hello?"

Snowpaw's eyes saddened when she looked at Cranepaw's abandoned nest. She hadn't seen him since the beginning of leaf-fall maybe. But her emotions pushed on to Talonfang. It was strange to be crushing on her own mentor. She just, what's the word, liked him. His personalitly, his charisma, his jokes and all. She had no friends other than Talonfang maybe. But other than that they where all missing. Snowpaw's eyes gentled when she heard a new voice in the den. "Oh hi" Snowpaw meowed

Ivypaw looked around and traced the meow to where it came from. It was a white she-cat, who stood out against the pale light of the den. She smiled. "Hey. I'm Ivypaw. Who are you?" She meowed. This cat looked friendly, though you shouldn't judge by appearances. Ivypaw kept standing, not knowing if this cat would be kind, or a jerk.

She seems nice, almost like... Cranepaw she thought. "My name's C- I mean Snowpaw" she said. That was close.
