Lyric walked to the river, her jaws stretching in a yawn. She had been watching over the new captive in DeathClan, Dogkit, and she was taking a break. He was being protect right now. He couldn't get out of the sandpit that had been dug for the kits that they were capturing. She sat beside the river, giving a small sigh at the peaceful flowing sound.

Breeze was snoozing in the shadow of a tree when he was disturbed by a sigh coming from another Deathclan cat. It was one he hadn't seen before and she seemed uneasy. Let's have some fun with this. He thought and gave a grin. Good day my lady. He purred and stalked out of the shadows, his amber eyes locked onto the she cat.

Her ears flicked at a tom's words, a purr. Lyric narrowed her eyes before turning her head. A DeathClanner she didn't know nor had met stood before her with a grin. The gray and white cat flicked her tail, standing. "Hello. What do you need?" she meowed, her gaze narrowed slightly at him.

He flicked his tail and gave a small laugh. Oh, where are my manners. I'm Breeze. And you are? He asked and sat down in front of the she cat. He examined her for awhile. She could be useful. An Allie. I could use some of them. He thought and gave her a meaningful smile this time. Ah, sorry dear. It seemed as if there was something bothering you. I am just here to help. What's on your mind? He asked with a flicker of apology flashing in his eyes. She was a pretty she cat, No visible scars that he could see.

Galaxy emerged from the nearby bushes. "I heard that you got the kit. How is it?" he asked, then noticed Breeze. Turning to the tom, he meowed, "What are you doing here?"

Lyric flicked her tail at Breeze. "Lyric. Nothing really is bothering me. I'm just tired. I've been working with the captured kit." she replied. She then noticed one another youngling come up, giving a snort at his rude manners. This cat may be an elite, but he had no right to question Breeze's appearance here. "I have. And, he can be here if he likes." she replied sharply.

Breeze nodded his head as she spoke. Ah I see. Must be hard being put in charge of um. He meowed with real sympathy in his voice. As Galaxy approached he dipped his head in greeting and ignored his harsh tone. He flicked his gaze back to Lyric and laid his tail on her shoulder for a short moment before swishing it back on the ground. I'm okay Lyric. Galaxy doesn't mean harm. He whispered to her.

Galaxy flicked his ears in irritation as he saw Breeze flirting with Lyric, even thought she was much older than he. "You don't have to stand up for me, Breeze, I'n fine as I am." He liked being independant and self-sufficient, able to stand up for himself. Galaxy faced Lyric. "Why aren't you guarding the kit?" He asked, tilting his head.
(Noo Shrewkit died I was [sort of] friends with him DX)

"Because I can take breaks. He won't get out. The hole is too shallow. He's protected as well. I've made sure of it." she replied irritably. "Now, if you are done with accusations, I will be going on with enjoying my break I have earned."

(I can't seem to make myself sound not bossy. I tried the phrase tilting his head but I STILL sounded bossy)
Galaxy straightened. "Okay." he meowed, bending over toward the stream. He stuck out his tongue and lapped at the water's surface, sending up droplets. The cold water was refreshing on this hot day, and Galaxy lapped up more.

Breeze just listened to Galaxy before turning and flicking his tail. Well let's get off the topic shall we? He said in a awkward tone of voice. So uh... He meowed and looked down at his paws. He hadn't known if Lyric wanted him to leave her alone to. He just flicked his tail over his paws and flicked his ear nervously.

The older female looked at the two toms, flicking her tail. "Were any of you at the battle? I was not because I had to wait for the first kit."

Galaxy looked at Breeze and grinned inwardly. Embarrassment made the young tom look pathetic, staring guiltily at his paws with his tail and ears twitching nervously. "So..uh?" He said, mimicking Breeze, "That's the next subject?"
He turned to Lyric. "I wan't there either." he admitted, "I slept until the afternoon before I woke up and by that time the battle was over."
(Arrgh my father give me homework on Sunday. I have to go)
