It wasn't a warm day, but Bell was uncomfortable enough to have draped himself half in and half out of the river. He'd been consumed by absolute boredom, and for now was simply waiting for something to come along and amuse him. With nothing but waiting to preoccupy him, understandably he was quite testy. There weren't even any fish in the water, so he had absolutely nothing to focus on.
Stretching out his white and ginger body, the youngling yawned. He wasn't so much a fool to think he could only do things when he was an adult, but unfortunately as young as he was, there was nothing to be done. He definitely wasn't going to miss out on his chance to get some action next time. Really, he just wanted something to happen.

Galaxy just happened to be stalking along the river. The fish seemed abundant lately, darting through the clear waters of the stream. He hoped to catch one, as fish aren't as smart as mice or rabbits. The only complication was that they were extremely slippery, which was why he didn't catch one yesterday. Galaxy planned to have his claws out and aiming for the gills. Icy blue eyes flicked back and forth, looking at his surroundings. The ginger and white tabby wasn't hard to spot, and Galaxy noticed him immediately. "Well, what do we have here?" he meowed, approaching the tom, "you new, youngling?" (New text XD)

Onyx was crouched in the grass near the river, watching two cats. 'The bigger one must be Galaxy, an elite. But who's the newbie?' He thought. 'He must be new to DeathClan, because I haven't seen him before.' He started slowly moving towards the two, hoping not to be caught. He didn't want to pick a fight with an elite!

Galaxy heard something behind him and turned around. "Stalking us, aren't you?" he asked, his tail twitching with an unreadable emotion. Galaxy looked at the two toms. "What are your names?"

"Onyx." He said eyeing the two toms. "Galaxy, isn't it? I've heard a lot about you. For example, you helped take over RockClan." Then he eyed the other tom. "Yeah, who are you, newbie?"

(No, you've got that wrong. I wasn't even in the battle of Rockclan. o-o) Galaxy twitched his tail as Onyx addressed the new tom. He acted aggressive toward the cat, even though he was very much a youngling himself, making the sentence sound ironic. "So, Onyx," he meowed, ignoring the other tom. The cat named Onyx seemed interesting. "I've never seen you before. You sure your not new either?"

|Alright guys, hold your little horses there. This was an open thread, created by me. At least give me the curteousy of replying before you swamp me out of it. If you wish to remain in this thread, please try to keep some semblance of a posting order.
Bell's ear twitched as he was first approached by one, and then two cats. His head turned to watch them curiously, though he didn't attempt to interrupt. Every now and then it appeared he would be called into the conversation, only to have one of the two toms barge over the other again. It was a rather petty display at feigned dominance, but Bell didn't have it in him to leave just yet.
Slipping out of the river, the ginger and white tom walked towards Onyx and Galaxy, then shook out his dripping fur. "Pardon my rudeness," he purred, eyes narrowing in amusement, considering it was they were who being rude. "My name is Bell, what exactly do you need from me?"

(Okay XD) Galaxy looked at the ginger tom. "Why, nothing." he meowed calmly, padding up to the river and looking in. "It just seems that we ended up at the same place at the same time." The water shows no ripples, no moving shadows, no signs of fish. He stood up again and looked Bell in the eye. It was just his way of keeping peace with strangers. "Nice to meet you, Bell. I'm Galaxy." He dipped his head and looked at Onyx. "and who might you be?" (Are you another one of Leo's accounts? Your OOC is exactly like his.)

Sitting down, the younger tom crooked his head to begin licking at his damp chest vigorously. While he had a love of all things wet, the aftermath of his involvement with them was slightly annoying. Ironically, the same could be said for much of his comrades in Deathclan. "Galaxy?" Bell repeated with interest. "Huh, the new elite himself. What are the odds." Purring good-naturedly, the ginger tom gave Galaxy a nod. Truly he could have asked for better chances than this. "Well, it's a pleasure," the tuxedo finally purred. There were so many questions and such little tact to phrase them with. It would be joyously delicious, he was certain. Perhaps though, not was not the time. "I'm glad coincidence brought you here, it's nice to meet a comrade every once in a while."

Galaxy flicked his ears. The ginger and white tom seemed more and more annoying as the day dragged by. The new elite himself? Comrade? He acted like a mini Drought, as if he controlled Deathclan. He was going to watch that youngling, all right. "Yes, yes, what a coincidence, yada yada." He meowed, narrowing his eyes and looking at the tom, who seemed to be busily licking his paw.

closed notes: oh, but my name is Trick, if you were interested Placing his paw down, Bell stared at the dark tom keenly. "Ah, sorry. I seem to have offended you." Perhaps he was just that sort of short-tempered individual, since Bell couldn't collectively recall doing something wrong. Perhaps he was being naive though. He had to admit though, it didn't seem an entirely strategic move on Drought's part to employ such a trigger-happy individual. Well, he must have his own redeeming qualities. Already Bell was interested in discovering what they were. It was a specialty of his to understand others and their motives. While it wasn't always necessary, it was enjoyable to put it into practice. Besides that, working on a talent was the only way to bolster success. "It's hard to believe coincidence brought you here, if you don't mind me saying. I'd have thought Drought would be working you to the bone. I'm quite envious." Bell finally purred good naturedly. Turning away, her leaned himself over the river, where -now that the water was settling- fish had begun to appear out of the dirt. With his shadow away from the water's edge, Bell hooked his paw down and spurred a fish, flipping it out of the water and onto the bank.
"A peace offering," he called to Galaxy with a smile. "I'd feel bad if you didn't accept it. For whatever I did, take that as an apology, will you?" Shifting his position around, Bell struck the slippery creature a death blow and smiled curiously. "I'm not very partial to fish myself, it feels too close to kinship, but I'll always try it. Tell me, friend, is there any prey you don't like?"

Galaxy tilted his head at the ginger tom. He seemed to be reading his mind. Galaxy glanced at the fish, deciding whether to take it or not. "Very well.' He meowed, careful not to betray any more feelings. He swiped his paw at the silvery creature, tucking it near him. He had underestimated the youngling, all right. Galaxy pawed at the dirt. "So," he meowed, "you probably know what it's like in Deathclan. What brings you here?"

notes:
Bell smiled faintly as Galaxy accepted the gift, turning his gaze away. "Thank you, I'm grateful for the gesture," he finally murmured with a nod of his head. He'd apparently made some form of error again, since Galaxy appeared to have closed himself of from him. It was a pain. Now it seemed he'd have the crack the shell all over again. Similarly, he couldn't help but notice that Galaxy hadn't answered his question. Perhaps it was another form of rebuke for irritating him. With a sigh, Bell downcast his gaze. Well, never let it be said that he wasn't stubborn when there was a goal in mind. "A paw for a paw, right?" he chuckled good-naturedly. "I don't really like fish. Surely there's something you don't like? Mice? Frogs?"
