"Cats of DeathClan, gather around!"
The now-familiar summons rang out from the clearing. Drought stood on the rotting tree stump, his muzzle raised as he awaited the arrival of cats from all social classes. His scheme for DeathClan was starting to fall into place. There were Elites, along with a growing number of cats in the royalty... and of course, the peasants. However, there had recently been an issue with one of the Elites... and Drought had been forced to find a replacement. He waited for a good amount of DeathClanners to gather before he moved on with his announcement.
"Many of you may not be aware of this, but Galaxy has been deemed unworthy of the position of Elite. He was stripped of his rank several days ago. Holly shall take his place."
The leader fell silent as he awaited the pseudo-Clan's reaction. Would they welcome the black-furred youngling or shun him?

Holly ▪ all the people ▪ pstt. immale My body slipped out of my den, the mossy damp area leaving my coat with a light sheen. Drought was standing upon the tree stump, muzzle high, looking down at the others who gathered. I padded over, edging myself into the back of the group. I gave a sensual lick to my chest fur before looking back to see my leader's mouth open.
The words came out and a small shy smile grabbed a hold of my lips. I was quite happy to be announced, I felt so honored and trust me, it felt pretty good. I stood straight and tried to look as responsible as possible. My chest puffed out and I tried to look stern, but just let my face flatten into a regular blank expression, eye staring straight forwards.

The dark tabby padded closer as he listened to his leader speak. Frowning wonderingly at what his friend had done to deserve his title to be disowned from him. But he kept silent and gave a mute nod of congratulations to Holly at her new Rank.

Bell's teeth clicked together in irritation, dead-pan eyes tracking the cat sharply. What an absolute pain. He had even more work to do now. Well, no matter. He had things to keep himself busy, and there would be plenty time to play with his trifles when his lack of amusement demanded it. For now at least, he could consider himself content, though doubtless that wouldn't last long.
Standing, the ginger tuxedo meandered away. He refuses to call that title. Absolutely refused it. His curiosity was kicked up, what had Holly done that he had not? There were no feelings of inferiority, which only irritated him more. Ugh. He needed to go for a swim.

Venus padded into the main clearing as she took a seat towards the center of the entire clearing. She looked up as she quietly listened to what Drought had to say. She quickly looked down to her paws as she felt a sudden urge of sadness and anger. For she had not seen Galaxy since the fight and for Drought announcing such thing to everyone. But still it was his job to do so. She looked up again as she wrinkled her nose I'd frustration. She looked around hoping she could maybe find Galaxy at the meeting and if not she would patiently have to wait intill the meeting was dismissed.

Twilight wasn't sure about Galaxy in the first place, he was to young and headstrong to be an Elite, it was no surprise to Twilight that he hadn't been seen since the Fireclan invasion. Holly was young but he seemed far more responsible, she wasn't sure why Drought had choosen Galaxy over Holly, but mabye he didn't try out.
Twilight supported her Leaders decision strongly.

Dove's ears pricked forth when the news of Galaxy's demotion was announced. Sure, she knew that holding the position of an elite was something to be proud of, so why did he blow it off? That was what she was confused of. Her gaze soon landed on Holly, the cat that she encountered for a quick moment before once again parting ways.
In other words, Dove was supportive of Drought's decision for the naming of their newest elite. She was anxious to see if this youngling would screw it up like his past rank holder.

| Please note that Holly is a tom, not a she-cat. |
Drought had half expected Galaxy to turn up and challenge Holly, but apparently the younger tom had some form of common sense. Either that, or he'd learned from his previous defeat.
No one seemed to be objecting to the new Elite, so the leader hopped down from the rotting tree stump and padded over to the black tabby."If I were you, I'd make an attempt to get on good terms with Vale, Badger, and Thicket," he murmured to Holly. With a flick of one ear, he prowled away into the undergrowth.

Sitting in the bushes Sunspots crouched and saw the clan she wished to join have a meeting. "Strange, titles, this and that." she thought "But soon I will know it all." Seeing Drought atop the rotting stump she wondered "Will I ever get a title..?" Seeing the meeting dismissed shortly after her though, she padded into the undergrowth. Leaving her question unanswered.

Luna sidestepped, following Drought instead. "Drought!" Luna yowled, pushing her way thrue the crowd of cats. Her shoulders bashing into them, but she didn't care. "Drought, this is important!"

(sorry, but I bet what luna has to say is important please reply to her @drought, it's holding the whole thread up)
Twilight looked at Luna curiously and moved out of the way, she wasn't sure what the she-cat wanted, but she admired her for being so upfront with Deathclan's rather cruel leader.

Vale didn't cheer nor really say much at all. The russian blue simply flicked his tail. Whatever his brother chose to do he only encouraged it. The elite gave Holly a quick glance before making his way elsewhere, uninterested in chatting otherwise with anyone. As far as he knew this meeting was over.
