Luna sighed, sitting on the narrow strip of pebbles that lie on the side of the gently lapping river. Luna's long tail was wrapped around her large paws. Her audits were flicked up as she gazed into the river, watching streaks of silver swim by. The sun beat down on her body, and she lazily slumped over, Laing splaied out on a rock, warming herself. Anna was padding along the river. The long legged ginger tabby was calm at the moment. This young she-cat was usually feisty bubbly and outgoing but when threatened can be strong fighter surprisingly. She was a new member of Deathclan and so far she was by herself. She knew that she needed to make friends and fast. As she was walking she saw a silver tabby she-cat. She took a deep breath and padded up to her. Hello, she meowed tilting her head to the side.

Luna's silver and black muzzled head lifted, gazing at the newcomer. "Greetings." She meowed, before sitting up to stretch each limb in turn. The long legged, solid tabby padded a few tail leinths forward, so she stood about a tails leinth away. "You seem new. I've never met you." The silver and black she-cat meowed, a slight edge to her piping but deep voice, but it was gone fast.

The older cat was padding along when he saw two she-cats. "Hello." He said. "What are your names? Mine is Onyx."

Anna looked behind her to see an older tom cat. Oh hello. I'm Anna, she meowed with a gentle smile. She looked at Luna. Yeah I'm new, she meowed with a small shrug. Its nice to meet both of you, she meowed nodding her head to both of them.

Luna notices a black Tom approaching the two. Her audits flicked up, hearing his name. "Greetings. Onyx. I'm Luna. We have a cat here who just joined." Her tail flicked to the long legged she-cat.

"I guess" Luna meowed, looking back to see if the tom she was expecting to see was there. When she saw nothing, she rose to her paws, flicking her tail and setting off, her spirits down when she didn't see him. She tread along a well worn path, her paws sinking in the warm sand.

"Yea." Luna meowed. Suddenly, an overgrown hedge rustled, so Luna crouched down, tail levitating above the ground. A rabbit popped out, looking around. Gently, Luna stalked forward, then shook her hind quarters, then with her powerful hind legs, launched forward, pinning the fulsome rabbit to the earth. She bent her head and gave it a quick nip, and the rabbit stilled instantly.

Anna didn't press on the matter and watched Luna catch the rabbit. A scent drifted across her nose. It was squirrel. She was light on her paws as she stalked forward until she saw it. It was on the ground chewing on some sort of nut. She stalked forward her eyes fixed on it intently. She darted forward and caught it quickly that it didn't even see her coming.

"Thanks." She meowed, pushing the fresh, upturned soil onto the rabbit to hide its obvious scent.
