Redfern lifted her head and smelled the air. There was the faint scent of mouse, and she eagerly dropped into a crouch to stalk it. Flicking her tail to alert Kestrelfeather, she began creeping forward.

She nodded and crouched. Stalking in a wide circle to come up behind the mouse.

[Redfern]

Redfern didn't need help catching a measly mouse, and she was certain that if Kestrelfeather had been made a warrior, she did not need the help either. It looked like Kestrelfeather wanted to catch it though, so Redfern stopped stalking and moved away to watch.

She looked uncertainly back at the senior warrior. Ever heard of a double team? Sighing unetttambling she pounced on the mouse and easily killed it and returned back to where Redfern was.

Redfern nodded in approval as Kestrelfeather came back. In truth perhaps she'd wanted to test her skills for herself. "I doubted we needed to work together to catch just a mouse," she told her with a smile.

She gave a faint smile and nodded

Something about Kestrelfeather seemed disheartened, but she opted to ignore it. Turning, Redfern waiting for the she-cat to bury her catch so they could move on.

You can continue without me. We aren't hunting as a team right? So go in." She buried her prey and headed back into the forest silently

Kestrelfeather seemed upset, and Redfern was concerned. Instead of going off alone she followed her friend. "Is something wrong?"

She gave a small smile. "I'm fine really." She replied firmly

[Redfern]

"Alright, I'm glad." Redfern smiled. "I'll go this way then, shout if you need help." Turning she bounded off a short distance.
