Disappeared (open)

A dark cloud covered the sky I blinked open my eyes and rubbed them one or twice the next time I saw the sun it was not covered and there was not a cloud in the sky a rain drop sank into my skin cold and chilly an image flashed in my mind a girl lonely and homeless lost in a dark world hungry and motherless the image disappeared and it started pouring down the sky was now dark cloudy and had thunder weaving through bare patches a scream wailed in the distance I stopped and listened 'mum?' I thought "mum!" I yelled and ran towards the direction the noise had come. Foot prints lay in the mud ahead of me so I followed them they lead to a small little hidden house "'she would never go here" I murmured and followed them inside the suspect or rather must have taken their shoes off for the foot prints stopped at the door and some shoes were left there I walked into the kitchen a couple of knifes lay on the floor clean and un touched by blood. I kept on walking into a small bed room where I saw . . .
