The she-cat stalked through the forest, practically melting into her surroundings. She stopped, parting her jaw to drink in the scents of the forest. A tangy scent bathed her bristled tongue. Swamp. Moonlight flittered through the dissapearing tree branches, bathing her back in light. Her eyes glowed, and the water twinkled. She sat at the edge of the musty swamp, drawing her tongue over her gray and black fur, waiting for a specific cat.

Rebellion had been waiting up in a tree hanging low over the water. Hidden by the curtain of hanging lichen from the tree. Seeing movement his ears perked up and he scented the air. A familiar scent bathed his tongue. He rose silently from where he lay and padded down the tree and jumped into solid ground. "I thought you may have forgotten about our little meeting." He rumbled. His voice hunting with amusement.

Luna gazed up, ears perking, eyes alight with alarm. "Oh, it's you! I would never forget." She meowed. Luna padded up to him, nodding in greeting. "How shall we start?"

He shrugged. "I'm not sure. It was your idea to meet up. Why don't you start with something." He commented sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. Watching her quietly in observation.

She paced around, collecting moss in hr paws. She sat and stared at her paws. A small smirk showed on the side of her face, and she flung a moss all at him. "Is that good?" She purred, standing up

He blinked and blinked again but didn't catch the moss ball. He looked at Luna like she was crazy. "Moss ball? Really? What are we? Kits?" He sighed shaking his head. He didn't mean to sound so harsh on her. He knew she was trying to hang out. But living a life as a rogue all you life something's such a moss ball doesn't exist to one.

"Sooo-rry!" Luna hissed, lashing her tail. She looked around, something catching her eye. Luna followed it, leaning over the murky waters of the swamp. Something that looked like a rock lay on the center of the small bog, so Luna gathered her muscles and leapt, landing on the rock. She noticed at had small spikes, and then realized that this wasn't a rock. Instantly, the rock started to move. It swerved at first, then lerched before it letter its head to snap powerful gator jaws. Shreiking, she slipped backwards, crashing into the water. The swamp H2O filled her jaws, then her throat and stumach. She lashed out with her hind paws in a desperate try for an escape. Her jaw gaped as she screamed: "Help!" Before she was covered by a black wave.

A repeat of the wolf huh)
Rebellion growled and bolted over. Seeing where she fell and where the current would take her. Bolting after her he made sure no other gators where nearby as he climbed across a fallen log that lay partly in the water and waited seeing Luna as she surfaced for air he leaned over and snagged her scruff. Diggin his claws into the bark of the tree to keep himself grounded as he quickly hauled her towards him and onto the bank into safety. Taking a deep breath and making a face at the taste of swamp water on his tongue. "You right?"

Luna sat on the bank, coughing up the toxic swamp waters. "Yes, I think so. Thanks for saving me." Luna meowed, giving a small lick to his cheek before turning at the scent of squirrel. Instinctkvly, Luna slid into the shadows. When she came less than a branch leinth away, she rocked her hackles, eyes intent on the squirrel. She finnially leapt, paws and claws extend. Her paws thudded on the now limp body of the squirrel, then she lifted it on her jaw and padded over to Rebellion. "Here, its my thanks." Luna meowed, swishing her tail. She backed away into the shadows of the trees, and flopped down on hetlr side. She gazed at rebellion with glowing teal eyes.

No problem." He gave a faint smile before watching her go off only to return with a squirrel. He eyes it quizzically until she spoke. He gave a bigger smile and shook his head. Snatching up the squirrel he padded over to her an nudged her into the light so she could dry before plonking the squirrel between them. "I appreciate the thanks. But you need the squirrel more then I. I didn't almost drown." He chuckled. "But if your so keen on wanting me to have it I'll share with you." He bargained

The shecat purred, brushing up against him. "We can share if you wish." She meowed, gazing out at the swamp. The wind stirred, causing her to shiver.

He chuckled flicking her shoulder with his tail. "Alright then we will." He replied nudging the prey towards her to let her take the first bite.

The she cat bent her head and took a menacing bite, chewing slowly. She then swallowed it, fur fluffing up against the cold wind. "We should find some shelter soon. Leaf bear is getting closer, so it will be a lot colder soon." She meowed, lashing her long tail.

Alright, but we seriously should." Luna meowed, the wing blowing powerfully, causing her to back up into Rebellion and cower, shivering as she remembered her journey here.
