Chronos licked his lips, flicking his ears as the tomcat stared uneasily at the water. The tomcat wrinkled his nose in distaste, flicking a brown paw at the cold liquid. Cold droplets sprinkled on his muzzle, and Chronos licked his lips at the frigid feeling. Bending his head down, Chronos lapped at the water, quenching his thirst and wetting his parched lips. The seventeen-moon old tomcat glanced around warily, whisking his lengthy tail on the ground.
With this, Chronos watched the water intently, hunched over, but leaning backwards at the same time. A few silver forms flashed under the clear surface, and Chronos whipped out both of his paws, eagerly trying to catch the fish. A slimy trout was caught between his paws, and Chronos flipped the fish out of the water, killing it in mid-air with a huge bite. Wolfing down his fresh-kill so other cats wouldn't eat it, the paranoid cat once again turned to the water, staring hungrily at it.
This time, Chronos caught his catch with one paw, but he slipped on the already wet bank from his previous catch. Flailing, the tomcat landed in the river with a startled screech.

When Luna heard the screech, she followed the sound to the edge of a lake. When she saw the tom, the braud she cat smirmed at him. "Need some help?" She chuckled, tail whisking.

Chronos glared at the she-cat balefully, already pulling himself on to the banks. " Thanks for the offer, but I'm fine. " the skinny tom spat, guarding his fish with a glare in his ocher eyes. Feverishly, the tom gulped down the fish, soothing the ravaging hunger that burned in him. The tomcat hadn't eaten for seven days, due to the lack of prey he received. Now, he was quelling it so he wouldn't go hungry again. Chronos was glad he wasn't dead.
" M'name's Chronos. " he greeted, after cleaning his whiskers free of fish.

Anna was walking along the edge of the river. Her long ginger tail swooshing against the ground. In the distance she could see her friend Luna with a tom she did not know at all. She walked closer and heard their conversation. She smirked and sat down near Luna. Well hello Luna, she meowed smiling at the gray she-cat. She looked at the tom and tilted her head to the side. Well I haven't seen you around before. I'm Anna, she meowed nodding her head to him.
