(Open to two)
Ray's amber eyes gazed over the practically endless fields of the Tribe's territory. He had been hunting here for several moons now, but his amazement of the land's beauty had not yet faded. He was on a hunting party, just like any other day, but today was no ordinary day. Or, well, only in the sense that today was the most gorgeous day Ray had ever experienced. The sun was shining, with only a few puffy white clouds floating in the sky, and he could just hear the fields calling out in rejoice.
He was currently on his own. He had split from his group momentarily to try and find something to catch, but his luck hadn't been so great in his first area, and now he made his way back to the other two cats accompanying him. "Maybe we should try a little to the east. I couldn't find anything except stale mouse droppings." He said, giving them both a half-hearted smile, and a nod to the east in hopes they'd agree with his plan.

The tawny colored cat had recently caught a field mouse, and he had taken a moment to appreciate the scenery when Ray, one of the cats in his hunting party of three, reappeared. "No luck, huh?" he asked, though he didn't really mind. "I'd say the east sounds fine. There isn't all that much to catch here, either," he replied, turning to the last cat in the hunting party to see what they would say.

(Wow, this tribe caught on fast) Solstice slipped past the dense grass, toward Ray and Stryke. "Sure, east sounds like a great idea." She meowed, supporting Ray's idea, "There isn't any prey here. I think their all in their nests." The droppings indicated that mice were here once and they might be here again. The tabby siamese turned and strode toward the east.

Ray nodded and followed after Solstice, the only female in the group. Both cats appeared to be roughly the same age as himself, and he wondered how he had never bothered to have a real conversation with them. In case, of course, they were newbies from the Outside Lands, in which case there couldn't have been an opportunity to meet them before now.
He opened his mouth, allowing more scents to be analyzed, and he caught the smell of rabbit. He instantly crouched down and began speedily stalking through the tall grasses, leaving Solstice and Stryke behind. He had killed too many rabbits to count, and was a natural at it. The poor rabbit didn't see, or even hear, him coming. Within seconds of spotting it, the plump rabbit was clasped firmly in his jaws. He trotted back to his group and gave them a nod. "Lehs keeph goin." He said through rabbit fur.

Stryke watched as Ray darted off, coming back a few moments later with a large hare in his mouth. "Nice catch," he said, impressed by the rapidity with which the other cat had killed the prey. He looked around, wondering where to go next; he hadn't been apart of this tribe for long, so he was not yet totally sure of the best spots in the territory. "Yeah, okay, but where should we go?" he asked of no one in particular, still scanning the nearby terrain.

Solstice regarded Stryke in confusion. "I don't think were going to go very far." She nodded toward Ray's rabbit. "If he caught this, there's bound to be more prey out there is this area. Let's not miss the opportunity to feed more mouths." She scanned the area, lifting her muzzle to catch a scent. A smell of field mice wafted up to her nose. "I'm going to look there." Solstice meowed, angling her ears toward where the smell came from. Without another word, she tensed, dropping lower to the ground. treading lightly on the soil, Solstice crept up on the mice, paying careful attention on where she was putting her paws. A gentle squeaking came to her ears, high pitched and desperate. Nosing past the last of the grass blocking her way, Solstice reached out a paw, brushing the dried grass away to reveal a nest full of young mice, their eyes still closed, squeaking and pawing for their mother to come. The tabby siamese felt a pang of sympathy for the mice. They were still very young and helpless. But she shook it away. Mice were mice, and she had to feed her clan. Solstice stood on her hind legs, a trick she learned as a loner to scare away other cats. They could probably see her now. "Guys!" the she-cat hunter called, "Look what I found!" (I'm so bossy XD)

Ray had buried his hare under a dying Elderberry Bush, and had been stalking the scent of mouse when Solstice reared onto her hind legs and pretty much ordered him and Stryke to look at her find. Ray turned back to look at his mouse, only to see the tip of it's tail slithering down a hole. 'Fox dung! Solstice had better found a jackpot, or else I'll cuff her ears for making me lose my catch!' He thought bitterly as he stalked over.
The sight before him, however, actually made him tilt his head in confusion. She was excited over baby mice? He rolled his eyes and began to pad away. "Those look gross. But if you think someone will eat them back home, begin your slaughter." He called back, no longer caring about trying to keep prey from running off. They probably would have done so already.

Stryke bounded over after Ray, wondering what had caused the commotion. Catching up, he peered into a nest, full of young mice. Though he agreed with Ray on the grounds that the baby mice didn't look all that appetizing, he was slightly more tactful in his response. "Yeah, sure, take them," he said after a moment, adding, "I'm sure somebody will eat them." He had no real desire to deal with that particular prey, and so he turned back to a different scent, one belonging to a thrush that was not far off. He was surprised that it hadn't flown off with all of the noise they were making, and soon realized it had seemed to have hurt its wing. Swiftly, he dispatched the prey, burying it and moving on.

Solstice thought about their responses. She didn't like eating baby mice, but maybe she was different from them. As a loner, Solstice always ate whatever was edible, so not to starve. The siamese turned around, abandoning her discovery. She dropped into a crouch, crawling with no destination in mind. To her luck, a scent of mouse came to her and she turned around, heading to where the scent was. Solstice bunched her hind legs and leapt, swatting the field mouse onto the ground and dispatching it with a swift bite on the neck. She sat up, carrying in mouse in her mouth, and padded to where her comrades were. After setting the mouse down, she meowed, "The prey's really abundant here." (Too lazy to do my font and color)
