Just as the sun was reaching its zenith, only a few clouds to obscure the path of its light, a tawny colored tom reached the top of a large hill directly underneath its light. Stryke had settled into the Farmland Tribe well, but he also missed the more open terrain that he had grown up in. As he was a hunter, he was allowed to stray past the territory surrounding the farmhouse, and he intended to take full advantage of that perk. However, before he had taken a couple of steps down the hill, he heard rustling to his left, and when he turned, he could make out another cat. He was not sure if the cat had noticed him, but they seemed to carry the scent of the farmland. "Are you a hunter?" he called after a moment, wondering if they were actually from the tribe, or just a loner passing by the territory.

Blaze stepped out of the bramble. "Yes, I am." He said. "I'm Blaze of the Fox. Who are you? Are you also from the tribe?"

Stryke nodded to the newcomer, and responded, "Yes, I am from the tribe. I was just going out for a bit of an... expedition," adding, "I'm Stryke. Nice to meet you," as an afterthought.

"Nice to meet you too Stryke. So, what kind of expedition? And do you care if I join you?" He asked.

Stryke shrugged, replying with, "If you want to. I was just going to scout out some hunting grounds farther away from the barn. It can be a bit crowded, so I figured there could be more prey farther away from so many cats." Turning his head, he inspected the land before him with a cursory glance, before starting at a trot down the hill. "If you're coming, let's go," he called over his shoulder.
