this thread is open for @sparrows and one more character, but please do not immediately enter the roleplay.
It was the break of dawn and the shaman of winter was still snoring the day away. This was not like the tom to be sleeping at the beginning of the day. There were many things to do before the other members of the Farmland Tribe awoke, especially to check on the elders and herbs. One could not just assume that everything was running smoothly, not after the introduction of the loners. Yes, he did speak to a few, and did try to acknowledge their newly found use in the Tribe, but in all honesty, he just wanted to be around those of his kind.
Taking a mild stretch, he yawned and left the farmhouse to take a stroll in the deserted gardens in search of cobwebs. A fascinating find they were, created by the careful works of a common spider. If only cats were able to do something as stunning as spinning a web, well, who would even think of that? Instead of hunting down the cobwebs, he was distracted by the sounds of a returning party. A couple of the guardians were back, and he watched them with curiosity, remembering how he was originally trained to be one of them instead of his current position in the Tribe.

The sun was barely in the sky when Sparrow and a few other Guardians left to patrol the area around the Farmhouse. No one was up when they had left, but as they came back one of the Shamans were up in his garden. It was the Shaman of Winter. Sparrow looked at him for a second befriend excusing himself from the group and trotting over to him.
Morning Shaman of Winter. All is well, I suppose. He meowed with a tilt of his head and a flick of his tail. My names Sparrow of the Trees, but you can call me Sparrow, or Spar. Need any help? He asked and flicked his ear as he looked around at the herbs.

If only Thusula was watching the guardian come towards him, he would have had something prepared for him. Instead, the encounter was rather spontaneous. "A good morning to you too Sparrow. I was just thinking about cobwebs and how fascinating they seemed to be with almost anything that we need. Don't mind me though, you would probably prefer to converse with your triune mates over there." he said, flicking his tail to the other Guardians.
Since Sparrow did not leave, Thusula nodded in approval and smiled at the cat. "Feel free to call me Thusula. Shaman of Winter sounds too formal for us, no?" He blinked once more, thinking if there actually was something that he would need help with, and it hit him. "The herbs can wait, but I have been dying to hear a story. Listening to the elders speak about death has become too in tune with my daily life that I have not heard much pleasant stories lately."

He have a small chuckle and tilted his head. The elders? They have nothing good to say now a days. I hope the day I end up there I won't be as grumpy as them. He meowed with a smile. Hmm a story? Well all I have to do is make the Sham... Wait I mean Thusula laugh. He thought and gave the tom a hard look. He knew this Shaman wasn't very fond of the loners joining the tribe. He had an idea.
A story hmm? Well I don't have any good stories, but every since all those pathetic loners joined the tribe nothing has been pleasant. He meowed and rolled his eyes.

He narrowed his eyes, wondering if Sparrow was just playing with him, but instead decided to just digest the moment. Someone was actually seeing the same perspective of this issue as he was - or least was pretending to. "Tell me about it. Even our own leader seems to be out of Tribal affairs after visiting that splotched disease holder." With this, he was speaking about Drought, but in reality did not really know anything about Deathclan's leader or the outside world in general.
"Though I am sorry to say that with the numbers of cats who are joining under your rank, it is you who has to deal with those mutts more than I." He frowned once and then laughed. "I guess it would be my goal to make sure that you're content as an elder since you would probably be assigned to me when that day comes."

Sparrow have a small laugh. Just to let you know... I'm not kidding about having them here. Their destroying everything this tribe has worked hard for since we started. He meowed and sat down, flicking his tail over his paws. splotched disease holder? Probably Drought. That stupid Deathclan leader.[/b] He thought and gave a disgusted look.
It was true. All the loners were coming to the Gaurdians side of the tribe, and he couldn't do anything about it. If only we got to vote on hat loners stay and which ones leave. They should be tested before they join. Then if they prove themselves it would be easier to accept them. He said. Speaking his though out loud, he realized that it was truly a good idea.

Thusula dug his claws into the fertile ground and nodded, agreeing with everything that Sparrow had to say. An alliance between the two would be very useful around here, especially at this pivotal time indeed. As much as he supported his leader, Ragabash had to learn the mistake that he was creating.
"Oh, the majority of them would not even survive the first round of elimination." he sneered. "Our dear leader was much too kind to let the weak enter the Tribe simply to make us look stronger, but instead we're being pulled down. Even the hunters are slacking with the meals now that they're busy training the newbies."
He then smiled, and then sat down. He was comfortable around this cat, and there was no point of speaking to someone interesting while standing up. To him, it just felt like a complete waste of energy.

Oh so Thusula was warming up to him. Great. It would be great to have a Shaman as an friend. Especially one who agrees with him. It was sad how their leader didn't care what loner entered the tribe. What if they wanted to take over and ruin the entire lifestyle? Oh they would be dead by the time he got to them.
Ha sometimes I think we need a new leader. But then sometimes Ragabash makes some sense. It's hard to decide wether he needs help or not. He meowed. That would be where you Shamans come in. You have to convince him that it's not fair that were letting loners into the tribe. He said and looked at the Thusula once more, seeing that the cat was looking fermiliar. Hey... Haven't I seen you before? During Gaurdian training? Ya you were the one that dropped out right? Ah well good choice buddy. Nothing gets more boring then staying in the Farmhouse all day. He meowed not trying to sound rude.

"Yes, Ragabash is wise most of the time, but he has been acting like a fool a lot of times lately." he commented. He blinked when Sparrow mentioned that it was up to the shamans to speak to their leader, but would an interrogation work? Or maybe an intervention? Hmm. Maybe, or maybe not. Only time would tell.
If only I kept most of my shaman friends that would have been easy, but then again, hardly anyone spoke up when all this transitioned in the first place. He curled his tail around his paws and thought for another moment. "I could not really challenge Ragabash though. He would just say that it would be my responsibility to watch over the cats more intently for I am to respect life even to its departure." He shrugged, trying to find a loophole to his shaman assignment and how he could slide a few rules to speak out to the leader.
As the guardian spoke once more about guardianhood, he smiled, glad that at least someone remembered his past. "Yeah, I was originally to be the same class as you, but I started to learn the basics of pacifism, so herb training was what I grew an interest with instead." The scottish fold then looked up to the sky, staring at some clouds.
"What do you think would happen? If the Tribe was to continue this way? There would be a possibility that we would be assigned to some mixed trainees."

He thought for awhile. He was interested in herbs and healing more than guarding? Well all cats are different. Hmm well maybe we need to gather a group to approach him and tell him how we feel. Then maybe he would listen to us. It's a possibility. He meowed and looked around the garden. He could see why someone would chose this, but having to take care of the elder would turn Sparrow crazy. At least that's what he thought.
What would happen? We would turn into just a group of half bloods and loners. It wouldn't be a tribe anymore if there is no more pure blood cats. He said and shrugged his shoulders. If we are stuck training a half blood or a loner I guess were stuck with it. Hey but if anything is wrong or we need to complain we could always talk it out with each other right? He asked and shook out his pelt.

Thusula flicked his tail, catching greater interest in this conversation. "We should round up cats of all the classes - shamans, guardians, hunters - and that might do, but how would we actually know which of our tribe mates are on the same position as us? I don't think that it would be wise to ask everyone who was originally hear for their viewpoint because if Ragabash finds out before we tell him, who knows what sort of punishment he might call for us?"
He sighed, acknowledging that they would turn into mongrels themselves, and he did not like that. Not one little bit. "As long as we have each other I guess we would be alright, but we should still aid the newcomers, well, when they really need us." He shrugged at his last suggestion. Best to let your enemy think they could trust you after all.
