Galaxy nodded, using his teeth to cautiously grasp the fish by the tail, dragging it farther on land. The dying fish thrashed a bit to get free, but with Galaxy's teeth clamping down on its tail, it was unable to fin him. Its gills rose and feel in a frantic struggle for water, and the body broke out in spasms. It grew weaker and weaker, and Galaxy found it easier to drag it. Finally, the silver-gray tom flung it into a pile of rotting leaves still left from last fall's trees, then hastily dug a ditch nearby. He then kicked the fish into it and and showered leaves over it. Looking up at Venus, Galaxy asked "Is there anything to mark the place. Anything we can trace back to?"

Venus watched him as he dragged the fish father onto land in till it died. "I don't think so." She meowed answering his question. She padded towards him as she sat down a few tail lengths away from him. "Is there anything in mind that would like to do." She asked as she licked her paw and swiped it over her ear neatly

(I though you would suggest something to mark the thing, such as a stick or leaf. Never mind ) Galaxy frowned, then dug out a sharp stick. "This will do then." he stuck it straight out of the dirt and skewered several leaved into it. Then Galaxy dropped onto his paws again. and looked at Venus. "Should we head back now?"

(Sorry) Venus padded towards him as she flicked him in the ear playfully while she passed him. "Sure, let's go back." She meowed as she looked at Galaxy seeing if he would come or not. She slowly padded through tall grass as she stopped and waited for Galaxy. "Hurry up Galaxy." She meowed ( sorry super lazy)

Galaxy flicked his ear as Venus's tail touched it. He was a solitary cat, unused to physical contact, so Venus's action made him a bit uncomfortable. The silvery tom hook away the feeling as Venus turned around and called for him. When he caught up to Venus, Galaxy asked the calico she-cat, "So where are we going, O'great leader?" he meowed playfully.

Venus heard footsteps and assumed it was Galaxy. A few heartbeats later he caught up with her. She smiled warmly at him. "About time don't you think." She meowed as she continued to walk. Thinking of were they were going she spoke up again. "Well I don't know let's just take an adventure around our territory and see were we can go." She meowed as she looked at him and smiled again but this time it was a real smile. "I'm sure that I'm no great leader." She meowed again as she laughed

Galaxy tilted his head, thinking of a destination. "The waterfall would be great." he offered, "There's no trees to block the view of the sky, and the top is taller than the treetops, so we can see for a pretty long distance." He then remembered a little 'accident' he had when he was a kit, and quickly added "Don't worry, I've been up there plenty of times. There's a dry route on the side. of the waterfall, and a ledge that could fit about four cats." (I'm catching up on posts! XD)

Venus padded side by side with him as she listened to him. Feeling a little nervous about going to the waterfall Galaxy reassured her. "Ok then the waterfall it is. But you lead the way." She meowed with a little hint of excitement. The place sounded really pretty and she now wanted to go, but never would she go alone. "Oh I can't wait to go, but to say the truth... I'm a little scared." She meowed as she looked down at her paws. She looked up again as she gave him slight smile. (OMG your almost caught to me that's coolXD)

Galaxy shrugged. "It's okay," he reassured, "I've had a couple of what would be close calls on wet waterfalls. Believe me, they're not as slippery as they look." Mostly it was the sun's work, drying most of the water on the bare rocks. The waterfall had receded to just a light downpour, not as loud as it was in the winter. He flicked his tail for Venus to follow, then headed west, the direction of the waterfall. He leapt past fallen logs, ducked low branches, and wove through a wide expanse of tall grass that happen to block their way. After a billion years a few minutes, Galaxy stopped, pricking his ears. There was a roaring sound, accompanied by constant splashing. Galaxy faced Venus, his eyes glinting in the dark. "We're here." he announced.

Venus nodded her head as she followed close by. Feeling better from Galaxy's reassurance. She leaped over logs and low branches and they walked through wide expansions tall grass. Her paws ached but she continued. When they finally arrived her ears perked up and her eyes widened. Her eyes beamed with amassment as their eyes meet. She brushed past him as she looked around. "Any where you like to go, when you come here?" She asked as she sat down her eyes gleaming in the darkness.

(Oh no! I forgot to cross out 'a billion years'. It was a joke XD. The journey isn't that long XD) (Whoa, 226 words!) Galaxy gestured to the top with his tail. Onimous music started playing. The top of the waterfall was a mere silhouette, framed by the navy night sky. "I like to be up there, where I can see across the treetops. He lowered his head and slunk toward the dark rocks, the moon giving a gleam to their surfaces. A rugged hole was at the near bottom, smelling faintly of some rodent. The scent was stale, so he guessed a gopher long ago had found a loose patch of dirt. He had widened the hole a bit, of course, and now it allowed cats to be in it. Galaxy gestured Venus to follow, the flattened his ears and ducked into the opening. It felt unnatural to him to be underground, walls pressing on him on all four sides, but he knew he'd come out soon enough. It'll be over soon. He promised himself. His whiskers led the way, and once in a while he stopped to let Venus catch up. Second later, he was hit with a fresh breeze as he stuck his head out. Galaxy hauled himself out of the hole and crouched at its side, waiting for Venus to come out.

Venus followed to where he was in dictating. She looked up at the top as her eyes winded a bit with a hint of worry. She followed him into a hole as she slipped in. She felt the walls press against her fur as her whiskers lead the way following Galaxy. Trusting him that they would be ok. She felt a slight breeze, she sighed with relief. She poked her little head out of the hole as she leaped out landed softly on her paws. She looked around as she gasped it was beautiful. She looked at Galaxy as her eyes beamed. She padded a few more steps ahead as she sat down. Her bright green eyes looked up at the moon and stars and then at all the land. She moved her tail inviting Galaxy to sit next to her. "It's beautiful." She meowed

Venus looked at the sunrise as she smiled. It was something she would cherish forever. Never would she forget this moment. "Its amazing." she meowed as she wrapped her tail over her paws neatly. She looked down noticing how high up they were. Her eyes winded a bit but she shock it off as she looked at the sunrise again. (lol...really wow sorry its short.)

Galaxy nodded, fixing his eyes on the horizon. Around them, the birds were starting to chirp, their pleasant melody bringing a new day forward. Galaxy turned around. He suddenly felt very sleepy, but he could always rest in the daytime. (End or no?)
