Alina sat alone in the dark on a ledge of a broken window. She studied the shattered glass that still remained on the window. The moon shown high above in the sky, and the stars danced gleaming brightly. Causing her pelt to be framed by an aura of moonlight. A cool breeze tugged at her pelt causing her tail to flicker over her paws for warmth. She let out a sigh as she relaxed thinking of her day. "Who's there." She meowed as she heard rustle from near by. Her bright green eyes looked around helplessly in the dark.

Ember was taking a nice night stroll, still trying to get used to the new surroundings. He moved his head back and forth, keeping his jaws parted for any sign of prey. Of course, he probably wouldn't hunt, being a guard and all. Closing his jaws, the orange tom closed his eyes and walked in the darkness, enjoying the chirping crickets and the soft breezes. Obviously not looking where he was going, Ember stepped on a dry leaf that crackled right beneath him. He was instantly alarmed of the meow that followed.
Ember slid out from where he was, trying to trace where the meow had come from. After a few more paces, he faced the cat whom he thought was the culprit. It was a pretty calico she-cat, and her pelt seemed to shine in the moonlight. Scenting the air really quickly, Ember realized that this cat was just another member of the Farmland Tribe. He dipped his head in politeness. "Hello. Um... I hope I didn't startle you. I was just taking a walk." Ember meowed, and stared down at his paws nervously. After a few moments of awkward silence, the tom realized he had not properly introduced himself. "My name's Ember."

Alina saw some movement in the darkness and the silent pad of footsteps coming her way. Her eyes narrowed a bit not knowing who it was. She took a quick sniff of the air but it didn't smell like any intruder so she calmed down a little but. She noticed an orange tom with dark amber eyes come out of the darkness, he was from the tribe. She relaxed a bit more as she fully calmed down facing the tom, she cleared her voice up to speak. "Hello there." She hesitated a bit. "To say the truth you did quite startle me but it's ok." She meowed smoothly with a flick of her tail. "Well it's nice to meet you Ember.... I'm Alina." She meowed as she rembered seeing him around before but she never recalled meeting him officially.

Ember calmed down a bit. "Well, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean it." He apologized. Ember sighed. Hopefully this cat didn't think he was crazy. Hopefully she didn't think he startled her on purpose. And hopefully he didn't do something stupid to embarrass himself. The tom shook his head. I'm just too much of a worrier, that's all. Ember regained the little smile and noticed how smooth the calico she-cat's voice was. She seems calm. That's a good thing. Maybe she doesn't think I'm weird. The orange tom thought, and tilted his head to the side as the other tribe member introduced herself. "Nice to meet you too, Alina." He replied. Ember too had seen this cat around the area, and was glad he was starting a conversation. He was glad to start any conversation with any cat, really. Ember was currently in the department for friends, and Alina so far seemed like she could become one. Or an acquaintance, at least.

Looking at the two cats talking, Jade thought that she shouldn't interrupt them. Why should I be a tribe cat if I know no one in the tribe? Padding closer to the two cats, Jade thought she could hear them, but couldn't. What is wrong with me? Walking towards the two cats, Jade introduced herself, "Hello, my name is Jade That Shines In The Dark, I want to become a Guardian when I grow up."

"It's nice to meet you too Ember." She meowed with purr. She studied the darkness as she thought she heard movement. But nothing came out she ignored it as she paid attention to Ember. "So what brings you around here" she asked cautiously. Her eyes narrowed as she noticed another cat appear. They went back to normal when she relised it was just another cat from the tribe. "Hello there I'm Alina of falling star in twilight. It's nice to meet you Jade that shines in dark." She meowed as she studied the new comer

Jade nodded her head in respect, "Hi, who's that cat?" she asked, pointing her tail towards a tom sitting next to Alina. Jade was too afraid to ask the tom herself, but being glad she knew another cat in the tribe, she thought that she would be able to be courageous and ask anyone in the tribe her questions.

Ember replied with a purr. He noticed how Alina was searching the darkness for something...like something was there. Watching them. He shivered at the thought. Why do I always think the worst is going to happen? The orange cat thought, and was about to reply to her question when he noticed her eyes narrow. Was there something behind them?
Ember nearly jumped out of his fur as the Persian(?) appeared. Taking a deep breath, he calmed down. "You scared me," He mumbled. Maybe that's how Alina felt. The tribe cat watched intently on the conversation, learning that Alina's full name was Alina of Falling Star in Twilight, and that the newcomer's name was Jade that Shines in the Dark. When Jade turned and looked at Ember, he politely smiled, much like the one he had given Alina. "Nice to meet you, Jade that Shines in the Dark. You can call me Ember." He answered.

(I am persian)
Jade was shy and was looking forward to meeting Ember. Looking at Alina, she knew that she could make easy friends as well. "Nice to meet you too, Ember. What are you, a guardian? Most cats are." I'm meeting lot of new cats, but should I be out of the nursery for this long?. Before asking Alina or Ember whether her choice was a good or not, Jade tried to be less of a mouse-brain. Heartbeats after deciding, Jade build up her courage and asked: "Would you like me to get you some wet moss for you to drink from?"

Alina smiled warmly at Ember. "It's ok." She meowed reassuringly as the she-cat came forward. She looked at Jade as she heard her speak. "Yes. I'm a guardian." She meowed as her tail tip touched her chest indicating that she was a guardian. "How about you guys." She meowed as she looked at them both. I think we all are guardians here but let's just make sure. "No thank you I'm fine. I drank from a puddle earlier." Politely as she nodded slightly at her

Jade purred, she liked these cats, "No, I can't be a guardian yet, I'm only a kit, but I want to be one,"

Ember took a few more heaving sighs and smiled at Alina. "Thanks." He turned his head back to the littler cat, and purred. "Yes, I'm also a guardian. It's great fun." He meowed, and moved his paws around to get in a comfortable position. He smiled at Jade's offer. "Thanks for asking, but I'm not thirsty." The tom answered, and stifled a bit as a chilly breeze rushed past.
When Jade's mew broke the silence, Ember was only half-startled. He knew that if something or someone strange appeared, these cats and himself could fight it off. The tribe cat studied the Persian. She looked fit for a guard. "If you really want to, I'm sure you could become one. You would be great at it."

Alina nodded her head in agreement with Ember. "Yes. You will make a great guard." she meowed she was well built and she was up for the job. That was a good. "So have you guys heard about all the rumors of these Clans begin taken over?" she asked as she thought. She has heard lots of rumors going around the tribe about them.

Jade's heart skipped a beat. It could be that Alina was older and socialized with more cats, but Jade had never heard of the clans. Leaning closer at listen more clearly, Jade asked, "What are the clans?" Feeling the same way she felt when she first met these cats, she just wanted to sink back into the shadows, but she stayed naturally still, waiting for a reply from one of the older cats, and the idea of those clans being took over, Jade couldn't help but wonder. Will they take the tribe too?

"I'm not really sure what the Clans are but it's a group of cats that live by code and positions." She meowed . "Also I'm not so sure that they will take over the tribe." She meowed whiskers twitching. "Who knows but the Group of cats taken over are heard to be cruel." She meowed again as her bright green eyes slightly narrowed
